I am very cautious of boarding my dog but I have surprisingly been at ease with boarding our dog Indy at The Fetching Post! They always know the details of our bookings, we get updates throughout the day, and I love being able to see him on his kennel camera. In every picture it seems like he's having a blast during his personal play time!

I’m disabled and I brought my 105 lb pit bull/cane corso mix in for a nail trim and anal expression. I called before I came and explained to them I was disabled and they met me in the parking lot to help bring my dog in while I got my wheelchair out of the car. They let me go back with my girl and did both the nail trim and anal expression and also helped me get her back to the car. They were so gentle with my big friendly giant. And one of the lovely ladies offered to come to my house the next time either of those services was needed. They literally went above and beyond, and I will be going back and referring them to whoever I can.

The staff at The Fetching Post are awesome! They are attentive to my pet's needs as well as mine. I couldn't ask for a better daycare, boarding, and grooming place for my fur baby. I would highly recommend them to care for your pet(s)!

I board my pup here periodically and she loves it! She always enjoys playing with the other pups and is always happy to go back. Shes also had her nails trimmed, celebrated a 1st birthday, and had a grooming appointment and I have no complaints on any of it.

Where to begin... let me start by saying that our dog is the most well mannered, chill, non reactive dog. He gets along with every animal, literally rescued a bird that was stuck in our screened in porch - he is the best.
The fetching post was amazing in the beginning. We were treated so well - our dog loved coming here for daycare 2-3 times a week which began around November 2025.
Fast forward to a few months later... we check the cameras periodically (what pet parent doesn't?). He is typically having a blast, until one day we see he is in one of those side rooms isolated, barking his head off and totally stressed out. I wait to see how long this will go. Around 3 hours go by and he is still in that same small room. We call the facility (hate to be that person). They tell us another dog didn't get along with our boy so they were rotating them in group play. THREE + HOURS he was left alone. No contact, no check in, nothing. Our boy is such a sweet gentle breed, but literally no dog deserves this kind of treatment. There was also ZERO communication regarding any issues with our dog and any others. I would love to think this was an isolated issue, but this was the THIRD time this happened to our dog specifically with being isolated for a long period.
My husband left a review a few weeks ago regarding this issue and it has since been deleted. Makes me question how true any business reviews are anymore. They have also reached out to us offering a $50 gift card if we would change our review to a 5 star. Such poor, unethical business practices and really unfortunate. I am leaving a screenshot of their attempt to "buy" a 5 star review from my husband. I'm sure rather than admitting that they messed up, they will pay to have my review removed as well.
