Google reviewers rate the studio 4.7/5, frequently praising the clean facility, knowledgeable instructors, and diverse class options like hot yoga, Pilates, and barre. The supportive community atmosphere and convenient location are also common positives. However, recurring criticisms involve strict enforcement of punctuality for late arrivals, perceived favoritism toward regular members over newcomers, and limited scheduling flexibility due to having only one room at this location.

I dropped in for my first time at The Foundry during a layover, and it turned into the highlight of my trip. My bestie comes here all the time, so joining her for the 45-minute hot pilates class with Rhett felt like the perfect way to spend our time together. From the second I walked through the door, the entire staff was so incredibly sweet. They already had a mat set up and ready for me, making everything effortless as an out-of-town guest. The class itself was amazing - challenging, energizing, and definitely had me sweating! What truly set this studio apart, though, was the genuine warmth and community. Afterward, Rhett handed me a handwritten card with the sweetest note inside, which felt so personal and thoughtful. The team even took a photo of me and my bestie to capture the memory. There’s nothing quite like being surrounded by like-minded people who fill your heart up. I can’t recommend The Foundry enough!
I absolutely love The Foundry Tempe Mesa! The staff are always so friendly, the studio is clean, and the classes are great. I especially recommend trying one of their Yin Yoga classes—they’re such a great way to slow down, relax, and reset. I’ve had such a great experience here and would definitely recommend this studio!
Excellent instructors. Great class selection. Clean studio.
I took a masterful hot yoga class with the highly regarded Cintra Bell, an advanced teacher at The Foundry. The class was interrupted by a participant who repeatedly disrupted the space, shouting excuses and comments at the teacher in what was intended to be a room for focused practice and meditation. Cintra gave him two opportunities to correct his behavior. When he continued to disrupt the class, the response was calm, coordinated, and remarkably efficient. He was asked to leave, and within two minutes other staff members had joined the teacher in escorting him out. Once he was outside, class resumed almost immediately with little disruption to the rest of the students. Meanwhile, the individual continued causing a disturbance in the parking lot until first responders arrived to manage the situation. What stood out most wasn't the disruption itself, but the professionalism of the response. The teacher maintained her composure, the staff worked seamlessly together, and the integrity of the practice was protected without escalating the tension inside the studio. Kudos to this community for sustaining peace under duress.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your thoughtful words about Cintra and our team. Situations like this are never easy, and our priority is always to create a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for everyone in our studio. We appreciate the efforts of our team to care for those in attendance while working to minimize disruption to the class, and we're grateful for the patience and understanding shown by everyone who was present. Our thoughts are also with the individual involved, and we sincerely hope they are doing well. We recognize that moments like these can be difficult for everyone, and we strive to approach them with care, compassion, and respect. Thank you for being part of our community and for taking the time to share your perspective.
This studio is incredible. I just completed Level 1 of The Foundry’s 20-Year Anniversary Challenge and have taken over 25 classes so far. I am loving it here. It has been important for me and genuinely meaningful. The Foundry has become a huge part of my life. The mix of hot Pilates, barre, and yoga keeps things balanced and never repetitive. Barre in particular is very challenging in a great way, targeting muscles you do not usually engage and challenging you in ways you did not expect. The yoga classes have been especially meaningful for me. It is a true yoga experience where you can actually slow down and connect with yourself, rather than a fast paced, workout-style class. That balance has made a big difference for me. The studio is always very clean, which matters a lot in a heated environment. Every instructor I have taken has been incredible, bringing great energy while still making the classes approachable and scalable. I am also always craving their LMNT Black Cherry Lime after class, it has become part of the routine. Grateful to be part of this community. If you are looking for something that keeps you consistent, challenges you, and makes you want to keep showing up, this is it.

And we completely understand the LMNT Black Cherry Lime craving! 😄 Thank you for being part of our community and for sharing your experience. We can't wait to see what you accomplish next!
If your experienced in yoga definitely head the other way if you want a stretch class with a military like teacher this will be great for you.
I love this place. Most yoga studios have a vibe, but this one genuinely makes me feel warm and fuzzy. A huge part of that goes to Teacher Ellen Keane. Not only is she an absolute yoga master, she sets the tone in a way that really connects you to your body and what you’re capable of. Her classes feel less like a workout and more like an experience. Imagine that!
Thank you so much, Tanner! We will pass this amazing message along to Ellen :)
Love this Yoga studio. I began my yoga journey here— well, more like my fitness journey. I’ve never been a fan of being active— I started at the Foundry because it was so close to home. I found my physical and mental health improving immensely after just a few classes. It’s been over 2 years now and this place feels like a second home. The instructors are phenomenal. Highly recommend this studio.
