After reviewing your event, the delay was not due to being understaffed, but rather because the pasta station served significantly more guests than were contracted. Your agreement included service for 60 pasta bar guests, which is designed to be operated by one chef using two skillets. Under normal service, those meals are prepared within the allotted service window. Rather than closing the station after serving the contracted guest count, our chef chose to continue serving additional guests because we had enough ingredients available. While that decision was made with the intention of accommodating as many of your guests as possible, it ultimately extended the line and service time. We understand how that could have impacted the flow of your reception, and for that, we sincerely apologize. We also apologize if your mother felt her concerns were not fully addressed. We did explain the service overage after the event, but if there are still questions or if you’d like to review the timeline or your contract together, I would be more than happy to speak with you directly. Our goal is always to create an exceptional experience, and we genuinely appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue to improve.
