Beware — Extremely Poor Work, Property Damage, and No Communication or Compensation I had an extremely disappointing experience with this moving company during my move on September 2, 2026 (Orlando). Their work was rushed, incomplete, and resulted in significant damage to my property. During the move, they: Broke my dining table, making it unusable. Cracked the glass door of a display case. Lost the shelf pins for a display piece. Lost the mounting hardware for my TV soundbar. Shattered the glass in an art piece. Punched a hole through the glass of another art piece. Left multiple pieces of furniture wrapped in plastic and moving blankets because they did not finish the job. There were also serious concerns about how the crew handled their time and responsibilities. At one point, a person they referred to as a “boss” came to my home and took one of the movers away to assist with a personal errand while my move was still in progress. I have repeatedly called and emailed the company regarding the damage and unfinished work. I received one response acknowledging that damage had occurred and instructing me to complete a claim form. I was told that management would not speak with me until the claim form had been completed and submitted. I submitted the claim on September 24, 2026. As of today, I have received no response whatsoever, despite my attempts to follow up. This has been extremely frustrating. I paid for a professional moving service and instead was left with damaged and unusable property, missing parts, unfinished work, and no meaningful communication or compensation. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others to thoroughly research this company before hiring them.

Twice I have had to use this company and with precision and efficiency Carlos, Isaiah and Dion came to the rescue like ninjas and moved my items in record time! 👌💥💯 I am thoroughly impressed and the price was on point! 5 stars all the way for Local Movers! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Carlos, Isaiah and Dustin came and helped my parents in Clermont, Florida pack and put their belongings into a container. They were on time and very hard working and pleasant to work with them. I would highly recommend them.

I had an excellent experience with The Local Movers! I needed a quick turnaround and scheduled a move within the same week, and they were incredibly accommodating. On the day of the move, they had a cancellation and called to see if they could come an hour and a half earlier, which was a huge help. My movers, Carlos and Isaiah, were so nice and completely professional throughout the entire process. They were incredibly efficient, emptying my storage unit in just 40 minutes and finishing the whole job in under 3 hours. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a stress-free move!

From the moment they arrived, Loui, Matt, Dustin, and Carlos were professional, friendly, and incredibly hardworking, they made the entire process so much less stressful. They were so patient with us throughout the day, never once making us feel rushed, they placed furniture and boxes exactly where we wanted it without a single complaint. What really stood out to me was how kind and respectful they were, not only to me and my husband, but also to my parents. They were even wonderful with our kids, which meant so much to us during such a busy day. Their positive attitude and professionalism never changed, even after hours of hard work.
