The Modern Canine - Dog Store & Grooming

I took my dog, Cooper, to Modern Canine in Bellmead for grooming, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The staff were friendly and made Cooper feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. He came out clean, fluffy, and looking great. I'd happily recommend them to any dog owner in the area, and we'll definitely be back.

Everyone is very attentive. Haircuts are consistent, he looks and smells beautifully after grooming, and happy to return every time!

Our relationship with Modern Canine and their grooming team has unfortunately come to an end after having Killian groomed there for a long time. Wouldn’t trust anyone else to groom my baby.

We were lucky to find this boutique through a recommendation. We are new to the area and our sweet Goldendoodle needs to be groomed fairly frequently, but is afraid every time. Dana took amazing care of her, listened to our concerns and what our Maisy likes, and fed her treats throughout to help keep her calm. This… Read full review

Erica did a great job with grooming our elderly poodle. Erica listened to my concerns about Cece's health issues and took great care of her.

Sonny (our socially anxious toy poodle) has been seeing Mel at the Modern Canine for a couple of years and we’ve been very happy with the dog grooming they provide. Making appointments, getting texts when they are done and overall communication is very clear. Thank you Modern Canine!

As an owner of a dog who needs a professional grooming every 4-6 weeks, we love The Modern Canine (and I’ve been almost everywhere around here at one time or another)! Both of my dogs, don’t love the grooming process, but they do SUCH a great job, not only with the grooming services, but taking the time to make the dogs feel calm and comfortable!! And they have the best, quality treats and food, if you like to give a “good grooming client” reward!
