We absolutely love this music program l. It’s such a fun, welcoming environment for little ones to explore music, dance and sing .The instructors are wonderful with the kids, and it’s been such a great experience for my four year old. My son is on the spectrum and this has been a great understanding space for him as well. I highly recommend it to any family looking for a fun and engaging activity.
Great class for toddlers! We feel really lucky to have such a great local spot like this. The musicians are wonderful with the kids, and the folks who work there are really authentic and kind. They totally go above and beyond. Would definitely recommend!

We’re currently taking the rockin toddler classes with our 1 and 4 year old. We love this class and look forward to it each week. It’s great to be able to find something that fits both of their age groups. Great place, great community.

Our 7-year-old has taken piano and drum lessons at The Music Space for a couple of years and our 5-year-old daughter will start piano lessons this weekend. We have loved our experience! The Music Space is a fun, energetic, warm environment for kids to get involved in music. One of the biggest reasons that we have chosen The Music Spaces for our kids' music lessons is that they have a strong emphasis on engendering joy in learning to play - they want to help the kids improve at their instruments of course, but they also want them to find the fun in doing so. We will look forward to continued lessons there long into the future!

This review has been a long time coming because it is difficult to fully capture how amazing the Music Space and its teachers are. My son showed an interest in drums pretty early. At three years old, I found that he was watching drum solos instead of cartoons. I called numerous music schools to see if anyone was able to work with him and generally the response was "he's too young, call back in a couple of years." I called the Music Space, and Mr. Justin took a chance - "bring him in, and if he's interested, we'll start... if not, we'll try again later" - and so, just before my son turned 4, he had started drum lessons. Mr. Justin developed an entire "pizza" method to teach rhythms before my son could read sheet music and threw him a pizza party when my son mastered it. Mr. Justin's enthusiam and interest in my son's musical interests is transformational for a kid. They talk rock bands and music and the Music Space gave my son the confidence and the opportunity to perform the music he is moved by. Nearly 3 years later, and my son is still excited to go to his lessons and practice at home to "show" Mr. Justin his progress. This experience is echoed in all of the teachers at the Music Space. My daughter has started guitar lessons and Ms. Roxy gives her the same special attention and confidence to learn "her" music and perform. My son has joined a band through the Music Space, and Mr. Kit gives them mentorship and a place to jam together. Outside of the personal attention, the Music Space is a business that is invested in our community. It's a rare community event where the Music Space isn't represented. AND they are building the next generation of music creatives by encouraging its students to form bands with each other and perform around town. The Music Space is a unicorn and a great place to be. I can't recommend them enough.

Our 6-year-old has been taking drum lessons with the Music Space for two years, and we absolutely love it. Justin and his team have created a supportive and fun environment for our son to grow his drumming skills, love for music, and seeing himself as part of a music community. It is so clear how much intention and effort is poured into this place. We highly recommend it!

My daughter has been taking guitar lessons here for years and I can’t say enough nice things about her teacher and The Music Space in general. She’s been able to write and record original songs. They get to perform a couple times a year at Towson. It’s been pretty amazing and we’re glad they do what they do.
