The Nest Schools High Point - Phillips

I usually don't write reviews for... well, anything. But I feel like The Nest - Phillips deserves one! Before starting at The Nest, our son had only ever been cared for by family, so daycare was a big adjustment for all of us. Those first few weeks were tough, but his teachers and the entire staff were incredible from day one. They were so kind, patient, and understanding, knowing this was a whole new experience for us. They've always made us feel like our family is important to them, and that means so much. I remember one of his teachers reassuring me that even adults need time to adjust to new environments, and that he'd get there too. Well, today he closed the classroom door on me and waved bye-bye at drop-off! He actually gets excited to go to "school" now and asks about seeing his friends when we're getting ready in the mornings. And trust me, I toured ALL kinds of places before choosing The Nest. It's hard to trust anyone else with your child, especially when they've only ever known home and family. But I'm so happy we found somewhere that feels right for him AND for us. I can't say enough good things about the staff. Ms. Ashley, Ms. Brennan, Ms. Crystal, Ms. Virginia, Ms. Sammie, and everyone else we've met have been absolutely wonderful. Even teachers from other classrooms take the time to engage with our son, which just warms my heart. They're loving, attentive, honest, and genuinely good people. Knowing we have so many people we trust looking after the most precious thing in our lives is something we'll never take for granted. We're so lucky to have found The Nest!

My grandson attends this school and I cannot say enough about how much he has learned at his time here! His teachers are always ready to go above and beyond and I love how they incorporate grandparents into their lessons with things like grandparent reading days. Those are some of my favorite memories because my grandson got to share a piece of his school day with me. Love this school!

My daughter attended the 4 year-old class.I was getting text messages on the everyday basis from the teacher for as things that the class didn't provide the children in the class using bad words.Not knowing how to keep their hands to their self , that's something that you get taught at home having 20 plus kids in one class, 1 teacher is definitely against policy.I will be reaching out to the board and regarding a lot of concerns that I have with the day care they have a lot of folks to home children.They made that their main thing to let parents know who was foster kids that was definitely a red light to me.Why does it matter if the children of foster home?They're not, they're still somebody's children.Overall experience with this daycare.I hated it, Ms. Kay thank.you for all the information I had already prepared to move jordan before the incident of a child the one dirt and moch into my daughter's hair they have no scruples for it that facility and the sad part is that they have staff talking about how bad the facility is and staff, leaving for breaks and never return.That tells you something ain't , right and for all the periods, they think this is a good establishment, you better check it, the owner didn't even have the respect to reach out to a parent in regard to their child. That speaks on the type of person she is as well but quit to get online and wanna reply over social media and i have reached out to the board waiting for a call back next week and yes , we thank you , she's definitely going to a 10 star facility welcome us high point friends

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Nest! The staff feels like family while also maintaining their professionalism and sticking to all policies. From the excitement of seeing our son everyday, to concerns when any of the kids are sick, the environment feels like a family and one we have entrusted a great deal in with caring and loving for our child. Ashley the director shows such motherly care to all the kids and it flows throughout the entire school. We feel so blessed to have this wonderful school in our lives!

Absolutely amazing school/daycare. The staff are kind and attentive. The Director -Ms.Ashley has a repor with all the kids. The environment is clean, healthy and my kiddo loves her teachers. I'm so thrilled my kiddo goes here.

My daughter enrolled at “The Nest” last year after a recommendation from a close friend, and it has been a wonderful experience ever since. Mrs. Ashley, the director, is truly exceptional. What stood out to me from the start was her honesty, directness, compassion, and down-to-earth approach—she immediately gave me the comfort of a motherly presence. Whenever I’ve had concerns about my child, she has been attentive and responsive, always making sure our needs are met. Since starting, my daughter has learned so much—signing, singing, socializing, and cleaning up. She comes home every day having discovered something new. While no place or person is perfect, this environment genuinely feels like home. We appreciate all of the caregivers and everything they do. We absolutely love “The Nest” and are so grateful to be part of it.

This childcare center truly makes you feel at home. The staff knows all the children by name, so it's very close-knit, like a little family. The children are always happy and greatly cared for.

Love it here! My son is thriving since starting here a little less than a year ago. He loves all of his teachers (he will literally stop and give each one a hug before we leave) and is always so excited to go in for the day. Could not recommend this place more!

About a month ago, I needed to put my 2yr old in daycare for the first time. I was so nervous and toured several facilities. I decided on the Nest at Phillips and am so glad I did! My son has fit in well after initial adjustment and has already improved on his social skills greatly. Everyone is so sweet and seems to really care about the kids. I would recommend to anyone looking for childcare in the area to check them out. The Nest just seems like top tier while also being priced the same as other centers nearby, and I just can't picture my son going anywhere else.
