Great store to shop house plants, with a great selection. Picked up a really cute begonia, cryptanthus, episcia and verigated alocasia ninja. Friendly staff and cute shop. Will be back for more house plants in the near future!

Cool selection of indoor plants that are otherwise tough to find in the area. But sold me multiple Alocasias that had mesh bound/tied around around their roots in the soil that I discovered days later after they died (none of their plants are doing well vs same species from many other stores thriving)

Hi Arjun! I’m sorry to hear about this experience, and would love to know more about what happened with these plants? We pride ourselves on having the healthiest selection in the bay and welcome feedback from customers whenever their plants aren’t thriving!! Your alocaisas were likely babies and were grown by the nursery in plugs - it’s a pretty typical way to mass grow baby plants. It requires slightly different care and we’re always happy to help explain how best to help them thrive if contacted after purchase! Sorry for your experience and we hope you come back and give us another try!

Fantastic locally owned shop. I walked in not knowing what to expect, and the cozy shop won me over. The owner is so welcoming and knowledgeable. I picked up the last "String of Turtles" and it is so lush. Wish me luck on keeping it alive and growing.

The only place in SF that I’ve been able to reliably get clear nursery pots every time!! They sell the bigger size clear pots individually that have been hard to come by (without buying huge bulk packs) which I absolutely love. So convenient off MUNI too :)

Beautiful collection of plants of various species. The shop is small and it feels very intimate as if you’re up and close to an artist performing in front of you. The orchids and violets are perky and healthy and the selection of hand made pots (local vendors) really pop with color. The $10 repotting fee is worth it. I enjoyed the service from the staff person who was very knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoy visiting indie plant shops and records stores to support local. Something about music and plants in one’s house really bring out good energy.
