I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Social at Savannah and the incredible people who work there. My mom was a resident there first in Independent Living and later transitioned to Assisted Living, and throughout both experiences, the entire staff was absolutely amazing.
From the very beginning, our family was treated with kindness, compassion, respect, and genuine concern for my mom’s well-being. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable, cared for, and treated like a person—not just a resident.
What impressed me most was how caring and attentive everyone was. From the caregivers and nursing staff to the dining team, housekeeping, maintenance, activities staff, and management, everyone seemed to genuinely care about the residents. They were always willing to answer questions, address concerns, and help our family navigate each stage of my mom's journey.
Moving a loved one from Independent Living to Assisted Living can be an emotional and difficult transition for the entire family. The staff at The Social made that transition as smooth as possible and gave us tremendous peace of mind knowing that Mom was surrounded by people who truly cared about her.
I also want to emphasize that this wasn't just one or two exceptional employees—the entire team consistently demonstrated compassion and professionalism. That says a lot about the culture and leadership of The Social at Savannah.
Our family will always be grateful for the care, kindness, patience, and dignity they showed my mom. If you are considering a senior living community for yourself or a loved one, I would highly, highly recommend The Social at Savannah.
Thank you to everyone at The Social for everything you did for Mom and for our family. You made a difficult chapter of our lives so much easier, and we will never forget it.
The Social is an exceptional place. When we were looking for a place for my dad earlier this year we toured several facilities. Many were nice but overpriced or lacking the "home" feeling. Some were downright awful, dirty and some of the residents didn't appear to be taken care of properly. I was exhausted searching for his new home and almost cancelled my tour at the Social because I was overwhelmed facing the decision to move him somewhere I myself wouldn't want to be. Luckily, I did the tour and was convinced this was his new home. I told my husband on a few occasions that I would love to be at a place like the Social if I was his age, there is just so much fun happening. The staff was friendly to my family and their residents. The facility itself was nice and there was an employee always close by to assist with any needs. We originally placed him in independent living and eventually had to move him to memory care due to his declining health. Although dad didn't participate in many activities (by his choice), there was a never-ending list of events, outings and activities. The food was his biggest complaint, but I was told they are working on fixing some of those issues. The Social quickly became not only his new residence, but it also felt like a piece of home to me. I got to know staff and the other residences quickly. Dad passed a few weeks ago and oddly enough I miss going there and seeing everyone. That to me speaks volumes of how special this place is! If you are in the "thick of it" looking for a place, I highly suggest a tour.
As a new resident, I have really enjoyed participating in the numerous activities and getting to know my fellow residents. Exercise classes, a weekly church service, bingo and wonderful happy hours have kept me busy. I haven't been this happy in years!!!

Thank you so much, Meggan! Our team pours a lot of heart into this community, so hearing your feedback really means a lot. We're grateful you took the time to share such kind words.
My experience working with Nicole Rich to acclimate my loved one into an assisted living apartment was remarkably seamless. Nicole toured with us and was extremely knowledgeable about the amenities, services and personalized care plans. Ms. Rich guided us through the process of procuring the necessary medical documentation and was extremely patient with us as we navigated the process of identifying the services that would be needed to ensure my loved ones safety and quality of life with dignity and compassion.
I am grateful for the supports and personal services offered and it is an immense relief to know that the residents are in caring and competent hands.

Understaffed. Food is cold most times and sometimes alright.
I recently pressed my alarm button for my pain medication at 2:00am. The nurse showed up at 2:30. Asked her What if I had fallen, she was sorry but she was working alone and couldn’t leave the other patient. This building needs more staff nurses.
