My sister hosted the most spectacular birthday celebration in my honor at the well seasoned chef. Sophia and her staff were absolutely amazing. They were so creative and flexible with dietary constraints and crafted the most wonderful meal. Our group ranged in age from 2-70 and everyone was able to participate and enjoy the delicious fruits of our labor. I highly recommend this place for your next party, friends get together, or family or corporate event. A definite 10/10!

My daughter and her friend did the 4 week kids baking class and had a great experience. Chef Dani was very sweet, so good with the kids and the treats they baked were delicious. My daughter said it was her favorite after school activity yet! I'd love to see a hands on baking class for more experienced young teens as my daughter will age out of this class soon!
The experience gave me and my son a great memory to cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank you very much
Can’t rave enough about this place! Had my daughter’s 13th bday party here and it was a phenomenal experience. Sophia and Matt made you feel so at home, like you were cooking at a friend’s house and just hanging out. The cuisine was incredibly fresh and delicious, and we truly enjoyed 2nd and even 3rd helpings!!!! I’m planning on rounding up some girlfriends for a girls night out and try one of the filet mignon cooking classes, probably bring a bottle of wine to enjoy with the meal. Highly recommend this place!!!!😊
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing experience at Well Seasoned Chef in Garden City! We took a cooking class where we made steak, roasted potatoes, shaved Brussels sprouts, creamy tomato soup, Caesar salad, and tiramisu — everything was delicious and it was such a fun experience. The instructor was extremely engaging, polite, and knowledgeable, and did a great job making the class enjoyable and easy to follow. It was a great combination of learning, cooking, and having a good time. I would definitely recommend Well Seasoned Chef to anyone looking for a fun and unique experience. I’ll absolutely be back!
The place was not big enough for a camp of 15 kids. Food was not great. Very hectic and almost just like an eating camp.
I was looking for something different and new for my 14 year old son to do this summer and thought a cooking class would be fun. Over $ 300 for 6 hours total over 3 days seemed steep but I do know the price of groceries these days. However, this turned out to be such an epic fail! My son said everything was basically prepped when they arrived... they chopped vegetables but did no cooking. He honestly learned more about cooking in his middle school FACS (home ec) class. So they stood around to watch the staff cook. There were like 12 teens and not enough food so portions were small and unsatisfying. The 3rd day the pasta was very undercooked. If they are going to say things take time so they need to prep before... then don't cram 3-4 items into a 2 hour block... pick one reasonable dish for the time frame and actually teach these kids how to cook. I paid for a COOKING class, not an "eating class" as my son called it. And after the 3rd day he stopped for pizza immediately since the calzones were tiny and not filling and he had a 45 minute drive back to Massapequa. The pizza was better than the food at this place. So do not invest in these cooking camps - not for teens anyway. Not worth their time or money since they don't LEARN and the food is terrible and not sized appropriately for teens. Never returning - would love a partial refund for the gas wasted... literally 6 hours in the car because of so much traffic. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
The camp is just them cooking the food and the kids eating it. Not worth the money and waste of my time. Food was ok but it was not very hands on. Very small portions and they don’t make enough food to feed 15 teens. $300 for $40 in food feels wrong. I would not recommend and I will not be coming back.
We had a wonderful night at The Well Seasoned Chef as our office team building outing! We worked as a team to make our meal which was very nice. It was a super clean space, the staff was nice and accomodating, and the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend this place, we had a great night!
We had my daughter's 7th birthday party at The Well Seasoned Chef and it was such a great experience. The staff did an amazing job keeping a group of 7-year-olds engaged and having fun the entire time. They made it really easy for the parents too — we could actually relax and enjoy watching the kids instead of managing everything. Highly recommend for a kid's birthday party.
Lindsay thank you for your kind words. We are so happy you enjoyed and the kiddos too!
