Walking into the Wizarding World feels like stepping straight into the Harry Potter films. I loved the different magic shops, each one full of little details that make the village feel real. The rides are the best part. My advice is to do the full castle walk-through before you board Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, because the walk is part of the experience. Going during Halloween Horror Nights added a fun spooky layer, and I'd highly recommend this place to any Potter fan.

Great experience. The ride moves in a lot of different motions. Be prepared for that. Motion sickness a possibility.

MAGICAL. Truly whimsical! I’m not a big Harry Potter fan, I hate to admit it, but I didn’t read the books and I can’t remember many of the movies, but this was my favorite place at Universal Hollywood! There’s a restaurant there called the three brooms or something similar to that that has gluten free. It’s kind of tucked away right when you enter on the left-hand side, but so enchanting once you go in. They also have a standalone bar, I don’t drink, but for the friends I was with, it was great for them because it wasn’t limited like a lot of the other drink stands in the park. It was a full bar. The owl store and the magic wands and the castle… Oh my gosh, the castle are all just so amazing. Your inner child will skip through this section with joy. I’m excited to go back, and now I guess I’m gonna read all the books…!
