Rahlita and Perci were the only individuals that actually cared about providing any assistance even if my case wasn't in their specialty. I searched through online websites as I felt frustrated with myself until eventually finding Rahlita. When I called, she was very kind as I explained to her my situation and she recommended me to speak to Perci. After speaking with him, I realized that they were both kind AND amazing people. Although they couldn’t take my case due to it not being in their line of work, they pointed me in a direction that I very much needed. It has been a very stressful year and I couldn’t feel more appreciated towards the two individuals that were willing to lend out a hand while listening to my own frustration. Don't waste your time and money!
Extremely disappointing experience. They advertise a “free consultation,” but it turned out to be nothing more than a tactic to pull people in. I wasted nearly an hour speaking with a client intake specialist answering endless personal and case-related questions, only to then be told I had to pay $250 just to speak with an attorney for a one-hour consultation.
Within the first 30 minutes of speaking to the attorney, they informed me that they would require a $10,000 retainer for what is actually a relatively simple case. At that point, I no longer needed or wanted the remaining 30 minutes of the consultation, yet they didn't offer to refund any portion of the fee.
The entire experience felt misleading, unprofessional, and heavily focused on extracting money from people who are already in stressful and vulnerable situations.
Don’t waste your time or money. Instead of providing transparency upfront, they drag you through multiple steps and charges before revealing their true costs. It felt far more like a business designed to maximize billing than a law office genuinely trying to help clients.

I had a great experience working with Rahlita Thornton. She was professional, knowledgeable, and always took the time to explain everything clearly. Going through a divorce is one of the toughest moments in my life. Even worst is having my child caught in it. When I was served divorce papers, my child was taken from my home by my stbxw. This was the first time my child was not living with me. Confusion, hopelessness , anger, and anxiety filled my days without my child. Then God blessed me with the aid of Ms. Thornton and her legal team. From the moment I explained to Ms. Thornton the situation with my daughter, her knowledge, quick wit, and quick action had my daughter returned to my home with me faster then I imagined. From the beginning, Ms. Thornton and her team have been nothing short of professional, empathetic, effective, realistic, and transparent. Divorce is a roller coaster of feelings, with its highs and lows.
