So, I have dealt with at least 5 different hvac companies over the past 30+ years for various services. Our furnace stopped working on a Saturday morning Gand we were headed out of town. Turn the breaker off and did my research over the weekend for a company to call. Somehow I stumbled upon Three Rivers and will all their good reviews decided to give them a call Monday morning. They were able to send Brad ( owner), over Tuesday morning. He was right on time, and within 15-20 minutes he had it up and running. I am glad I found them . This is my first experience with them and it was very positive. I cannot say that about some of the other hvac companies I have hired. Will I use them again, absolutely.

Hired for an old A/C removal and new A/C unit in different location. Had 3 bids, theirs was the lowest, but that’s not what sold me on them. The knowledge, honesty and advice of Matt, who came to look at the project, did. Matt helped me make some difficult decisions and I really appreciated his guidance and straightforwardness. Hayden and Aiden are very professional, respectful and tidy installers who did really nice work, and I am very particular, so that’s saying a lot. Very pleased with the outcome!! Janice did all the scheduling, very friendly and helpful. Can’t say enough about how pleased I am with everything. Three Rivers is now our permanent heating & cooling go to.

My experience with Three Rivers Heating and Cooling was exceptional from start to finish. Their five-star rating doesn't begin to indicate what a wonderful company this is--from the warmth of Janice, who was able to answer several of my questions on the phone and quickly schedule me an appointment, to the technician Matt, who was a consummate professional. His honesty, directness, helpfulness, clarity, skill, and resourcefulness were of tremendous help in getting me what I needed for the heating and cooling systems in my new home. They will definitely be the company I turn to for any future heating and cooling needs.

My Trane furnace died after 30 years, last Monday. There was no point in trying to repair it so we decided to have it replaced with a new furnace and to stick with Trane since the previous one lasted so long. Three Rivers were the only company amongst the contractors that came by to offer Trane and their price was competitive as well so we decided to go with the same brand. Jesse came by first and gave us the quote after inspecting the old system. Next day Hayden and Pavel showed up with the new unit and by the end of the day everything was up and running providing quiet comfort to our home. Hayden and Pavel did a fantastic job, they were professional, respectful, knowledgeable and left the place clean after the job was done. I highly recommend Three Rivers for HVAC related issues, they trully are great!

Spoke with them as a second opinion with regard to some recommended repairs/replacements. They helped debug and think through and ultimately reach a significantly less expensive conclusion. Really respect not have unnecessary work pushed on me, and getting the honest take. Can't recommend enough.

We've had such great experiences with Three Rivers! Jesse came out and helped us with installation of a new furnace a couple years ago, and today Brad came to the house to fix what ultimately turned out to be an electrical issue that had shut down our central air. I love that they are a small business located in SE Portland/Milwaukie area. Both times that I called them, they were at the house within 1-2 business days. In both cases, they were very informative and could clearly illustrate for us what the problem was. They clearly laid out what repair and cost scenarios were, absolutely no surprises. Super nice guys, and very respectful of the house and pets. Would happily recommend Three Rivers to anyone

We took three bids for AC installation and mini splits, and while they were all comparable in terms of price, Three Rivers was the best in terms of professionalism and trustworthiness. They had the best financing plan by FAR as well. Jesse was great during the initial consultation and Hayden and his crew were amazing during the install. Our house is no longer an oven! This is the kind of company you want to work with.
