Spoke on phone with someone who told me red light ticket would be about 250 and a small court fee about 50 to 75 so far I’ve paid $485 dollars haven’t got any update or any information on who my attorney is thanks for reaching out and clearing things up!
Initially, things went well. Then we had questions and it took multiple tries to get hold of someone to answer them. Now the court records show the fine has been paid, but community service and driving school are not completed. Ticket Takedown sends a weekly text saying the info has been submitted and they're waiting on the court. SINCE MAY 6. I've tried using their chat (twice), texting in response to one of their weekly texts, and I even made an appointment for a phone call ( NO ONE called). In addition, the court records include a listing that "defendant failed to appear" -- on MY record.. Things definitely went downhill as soon as they had my money.
After being told I do not have to attend court several times I have a warrant out for my arrest that I had to look up to find out about. Meanwhile the company is requesting more money from me than I initially was told I would be paying and no one is responding to my calls or calling for the scheduled phone appointments. From May until now my court date has been constantly continued. There is no reason a deal should not have been concluded with the prosecuting attorney months ago. You pay for representation but the attorney clearly isn’t even showing up to court. Im being sent additional fees that couldn’t be coming from the court because no one is showing. To anyone considering i’d say do your research and if you can do it yourself.
Ticket Takedown was super helpful in getting my ticket lowered. I was ticketed up to almost 800 dollars in ticket fines with the possibility of points being added to my record and the offense showing up publicly on my records but thanks to Ticket Takedown, my fine was reduced to 170 dollars (with Ticket Takedown paying 10 dollars of it) and no points being added to my record and getting it to not show up on my public records!
