Amazing at pairing students with tutors who align with their needs. I appreciate how Tidewater Tutors considers both the kids and the adults who help them ❤️
My son has been struggling with reading and math. I’m amazed in such a short time how far he’s come thanks to Tidewater tutors and Astryd Lewis. Very professional and I highly recommend 🤩
Two-part review:
For the Owner- Tidewater Tutors is an excellent resource for students. I was able to set up a consultation and a contract within one day. The owner is proactive in engaging with the parents and she follows up after each session to ask if the tutor was a good fit; and if there is any additional help they can provide.!As a parent, I appreciate that.
For the tutor - The gentleman’ name is Nash. First, on time, professional, prepared and WELL VERSED in math. Secondly, he took his time with my son, was able to explain in depth on my son’s level, and provided him with excellent tips and feedback. He also provided me with feedback on what I needed to do to make sure my son was successful. Looking forward to our upcoming sessions.

I booked a tutoring session last minute for my younger sister who was struggling with a biology project. Shayla and her team came to the rescue and my sister was able to complete her project and turn it in on time! The online platform used for the tutoring session was easy to access and user friendly. Once the tutoring session was complete, I received a detailed email summarizing the session. Will definitely return as needed in the future. Thank you Tidewater Tutors!!!!!!!
