Scott Luke and his father have prepared my taxes for the past 35 years. Earlier in my career, when I ran several businesses and owned multiple rental properties, my tax returns were very complex. Scott’s team consistently did excellent work and literally saved me thousands of dollars in taxes. Now that I am retired and my tax return is much simpler, I remain a loyal customer and plan to continue working with Scott.

Worst tax experience of my life.
I went to them because my normal tax preparers were booked up. Their rate was easily double what I usually pay but I needed it done. After all was said and done, I was given a packet with an amount that I owe, with a voucher for the payment. I made the payment as was presented to me. Fast forward to mid June. I get a letter from the IRS saying that I have unpaid tax with penalties. I called TLC and they told me that they made an error in the original filing and it was discovered AFTER I signed and paid, with one attempt at a voicemail (that I have no record of) and no other attempt to reach out to inform me that I owe more.
So for months, I'm thinking I paid my taxes in full and I'm hit with a late tax bill, with penalties and a deadline, for the remaining tax, from their error, not mine, that they didn't make me aware of. Anyway, I will never do business with them again, or recommend them to anyone.
