I waited until I had gone through the experience before writing this review because I had some reservations along the way—and that context matters. We connected with Todd and Julie after they were looking for senior pets to photograph. We have two Shih Tzus, Stella and Fiona, and what began as an opportunity to capture them became a family session with my husband and me as well. From the beginning, they were warm, accommodating and genuinely enjoyable to work with. Todd is incredibly talented behind the camera, and Julie was right there paying attention to all the little details you don’t necessarily think about when you’re being photographed. After our session, but before my viewing/purchasing appointment, I started reading their online reviews. Several negative ones raised concerns about pricing, the purchasing process, digital images and feeling pressured during the reveal. I’ll be candid: I became skeptical. Enough so that I reached out to Julie with a list of questions. I wanted to understand the investment, how the digitals worked and my options before looking at photographs I knew I’d be emotionally attached to. I was very upfront about why I was asking. I told Julie I had read the reviews and that I do much better with transparency than surprises or high-pressure sales situations. She could easily have become defensive. She didn’t. Instead, she thoughtfully answered my questions and explained their process. We went back and forth until I understood the pricing and digital collection. By the viewing appointment, I understood that this is a portrait-art experience, not simply a traditional session where you pay a fee and automatically receive digital files. I’ll admit I still walked in a little guarded. That disappeared quickly. Todd and Julie were just as warm and gracious during the viewing. They were patient while I looked through the images, gave me their professional opinions, helped me think through what would work in our home, and gave me space to make my own decisions. It felt collaborative rather than transactional. I never felt hurried or pressured, and I genuinely appreciated their advice. The photographs were beautiful, particularly what Todd captured of Stella and Fiona. There is something different about seeing professionally created portraits of your little family versus pictures sitting in your phone. The appointment I had been most apprehensive about ended up being one of the loveliest parts of the experience. Prospective clients should understand that their finished artwork is an investment. This is not inexpensive photography, and there’s nothing wrong with saying that plainly. Ask questions, understand the options, and decide what has value to you. I’m glad I asked mine beforehand because I could focus on the photographs rather than wondering what was coming next. I work in HR, so I’m very familiar with reviews and how differently people can experience the same company or situation. A review reflects one person’s perspective at one point in time—it doesn’t necessarily tell the whole story. Ironically, I had to remind myself of that here. The negative reviews gave me legitimate questions, but I needed to have the experience myself before deciding what I thought. I’m very glad I did. I can only speak to our experience, and ours was excellent. I especially appreciate how gracious Julie was with my direct concerns. She knew I had read the negative reviews and was skeptical, yet she met me with patience and transparency. So, from someone who went from excited, to skeptical, to probably asking Julie more questions than she ever anticipated 😂, and ultimately right back to excited again—I’m genuinely glad I formed my own opinion. We now have beautiful digital images of our little family, and I can’t wait to see the finished artwork. I’m incredibly grateful to Todd and Julie for capturing Stella and Fiona and this chapter of our family so beautifully.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience. Todd and Julie are truly exceptional, professional, kind, and so genuine in the way they connected with both me and my senior dog. From the moment we arrived, they made everything feel relaxed and easy, which meant so much. The photos are exceptional and I get to keep the memories of the best dog ever for a lifetime. I got a complimentary photo shoot for my senior chi with a 300 plus credit, and I wasn't bothered by the refundable 100 deposit hold. I like supporting local businesses and the shoot was fun, and they were both nice but we had zero warning about how much the actual prices were, which were thousands for a handful. Me and my husband were both shocked, and weren't given much chance to talk about how we felt, we weren't offered digital photos only as well. We had to use our refundable 100 AND the 300+ credit for the one photo, which was the smallest and still cost OVER 100 dollars. Honestly, for how much we spend for our senior chi to live the best life with us, and how much they seemed to care, we're absolutely just stunned and honestly, heartbroken. It felt embarrassing, demeaning a bit for how much we were being taught on "art" and all their "packaged deals" for that day only. My little man has a limited time on this earth, not from just age, but physical abuse/neglect from previous owners. So I can't express enough for how me and my husband felt extremely heartbroken for how everything turned out with zero warning. Edit-I also want to state their payment plans were ridiculous still, thousands, I had reached out personal email talking to the owner and they were in a sense avoiding or in denial. My heart still hurts I still couldn't get more than one picture. If you can afford them, that's great, but for any pet parent they know how much their fur babies are, especially senior ones. I had a photo shoot scheduled for my senior dogs, but unfortunately one of them passed away just before having the opportunity to meet with Todd and Julie. These folks were so kind and understanding when I had to cancel our photo shoot. Really they have been amazing from the very first phone call. I’ve seen their work and know how beautiful it is, and I recommend their customer service too! Thanks again for all of your love Julie and Todd.

I have never experienced such wonderful customer service in my life! These guys are so professional, so good with animals and so very kind and patient. I do not have enough good things to say. I had such a great experience taking my little boy in for pictures. They communicate very well and I was just astounded by the professionalism as well as them being so friendly and sweet. If I could give 10 Stars I would! Highly recommend! You won't regret it
