We had to have some foundation work done (Required the carpet be pulled back and then re-stretched in our living room) and looked at new carpet for our bedroom. Nick was patient and listened to all our needs. Scheduled the pull up and re-stretch around the foundation work and communicated with us the entire way. Jazz is a craftsman at his work and took care of the current carpet like it was his own home. When he was done, the carpet looked like it had never been pulled back. Nick always kept us up to date and made sure all was well. When that was all done, we scheduled the install/replacement of the new carpet in our bedroom. Again, excellent service. Appreciated the communication and updates from both Nick and Jazz during the whole process. Thank you.

I had been looking for a rug with an odd measurement for our boat. I needed it to be made from outdoor material and in a very particular color. I tried several big-box stores and home improvement stores with no luck. To make things even more challenging, I needed it the same day. While searching online, I found Tom's Carpet in East Ridge, Tennessee. I called and spoke with Jody and explained exactly what I was looking for. Not only did he have the correct color in stock, but he was also willing to cut the perfect size piece for what we needed. The best part was that everything was taken care of the same day—actually within just a couple of hours from our first conversation! Great customer service, great selection, and they went above and beyond to help me get exactly what I needed. I highly recommend Tom's Carpet and especially appreciate Jody for his excellent service!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The photos speak for themselves…what a transformation! The entire sales and installation process was completed in less than one week! I told Will we needed it done quickly and I wasn’t really sure what I wanted. He guided me step by step and ensured I got the best possible product and price! I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and how easy it was to work with him and his team. Everyone was polite, efficient, and clean. Replaced carpet in Master Bedroom suite. From sales to install, service was excellent. We worked with Nick on our carret and pad selection. I highly recommend Nick.

Friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection and can cut and finish to your desired size. Very reasonable cost. Had our 6ft. Diameter done in 3 days.

EDITED: 7/9/26 I am so impressed with the extreme ownership Will exhibited in our situation. He helped us understand what went wrong with our floors, found a product that is significantly better than what we had and generously mitigated the cost. We now have new floors that I have a lot of confidence in. I also appreciate his patience as it took us quite a while to get things sorted to get this done and when we were ready Will and his install folks worked with us to schedule as needed. I cannot say thank you enough. I truly am more impressed with Will and his company than I would have been if everything had gone perfectly from the start. I'll continue to update this thread but I wanted to bump up a star and edit this as I was very impressed with his quick response and willingness to take ownership of the lack of follow through. _____________________________ I initially would have had a great review, Tom's was efficient and helpful. However, after several years with our floor I am compelled to leave this review. We did a total house renovation several years ago and had our entire downstairs redone with LVP. We rather quickly began having some issues- the planks were separating- and someone came out to "fix it". The problems continued. Over the past several months I have repeatedly called Tom's to ask about our issues. I know our floor is no longer under warranty, but I feel like a new floor install should last more than four years. I simply wanted someone to help me see what our options are. I was repeatedly asked to leave my info and someone would get back to me. No one ever did. I called again. I was asked to text photos (attaching some of these but they don't show all the places where there is buckling and give in the planks) and video of the issues and was told someone would follow up. No one ever did. My best guess is that our subfloors weren't in a good condition for the install to even happen, but instead of the install crew telling us we needed to pay for fixes before they installed the floor, they just installed it anyway. We were relying on the expertise of others and because they didn't come through we are now dealing with the consequences. I'm simply looking for someone at Tom's to back up their product and work and help me figure out what, if anything, we can do to resolve this (short of spending thousands on a new floor!). So far that hasn't happened.

From the moment we walked into the store and were met by Nick our salesman, from the moment the installers left our home after installation , we were thoroughly impressed with The Tom’s Carpet experience. Nick was most helpful and the installers were completely professional and efficient. You don’t find this level of professionalism and service all that often but they sure deliver!! Anyone out there who wants carpet, go to Tom’s and ask for Nick Ross!!

I initially called just wanting to change out the carpet in one room. When I first called, I just asked Nick about labor charges for one room. Rather than leaving it there and just giving me a number, he took time to listen to what my needs were. After further conversation, I was able to see that it made sense to update some of my other rooms as well. In the end, I went with a completely different product because it actually better fit my needs and budget. He was never pushy and always patient with me in the complexities of matching existing flooring with new flooring. He never tried to oversell me. The installers did a great job. From the showroom staff, to the measurement professional, to the installers, I would highly recommend them.
