Wonderful company to work with! They helped me plan and think through a complicated and unique drainage issue and I’m very happy with the result. I highly recommend Joe and the rest of the team!
Luke, thank you! Complicated drainage problems are what we do best. Joe loves working through the tough ones, and we're glad the solution delivered. Really appreciate the recommendation!
An amazing experience from start to finish!
Alisha, thank you! That's exactly the experience we work hard to deliver every time. Really appreciate you taking a moment to share that!
Tommy Pollina placed a patio and front porch steps for our yard. They did an excellent job and were very professional and followed up with us before the project started and after completion of the project.
Karen, thank you! A new patio and front porch steps can completely change how a home looks and feels, and we're glad the project came together well. The follow-up before and after is something we take seriously, really appreciate you noticing that. Thanks for the kind words!
Tommy Polina installed downspout capture intake drains to feed into a new French drain (over 40 feet underground in all). All work was carefully cleaned up and grass is already covering the French drain yard installation. This was the second and last phase of completing all my downspouts draining into repositories that keep all rainwater on my property and away from my house. Even the heaviest rains soak in after 24 hours.
Joseph, thank you! 40+ feet of underground drainage, downspout intakes, and a French drain that handles the heaviest rains and the lawn already growing back over it. That's the goal every time. Really appreciate you sticking with us through both phases!
We had a serious drainage problem in Bartlett that a severe storm made very apparent. We needed a good plan to resolve and experienced execution, and we got both with Tommy Polina. Before and after pictures tell the full story!!
Barbara, thank you! A severe storm has a way of making drainage problems impossible to ignore and we're glad you had a plan and a team ready to tackle it properly in Bartlett. We appreciate you sharing your experience!
I hired Tommy Polina to landscape my yard before building a playground and to add rubber mulch after the playground was built. Marilee was great throughout the process and helped me scope the project reducing the area I had initially though while mantaining the safety. Communication was great and they even took the dirt the builder left from the concrete footings for free. When the back climbing board was to close to the back of the perimeter they added some extra area as well. They drilled some holes to the perimeter wall for drainage which was not initially scoped. Just great things to say about the team and Marilee. Thanks! Emil
Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! We’re glad Marylee and our team could help make sure the space was properly prepared, safe, and functional for the new playground. We really appreciate you recognizing the extra effort from the crew and the communication throughout the project. It was a pleasure working with you, and we hope your family enjoys the new playground for many years to come!
Tommy Pollina did a large drainage project for me and they did a great job. What truly sets them apart is their long term commitment. Over the next 2 years some issues came up as the ground settled. Both times, I reached out, and they came back out to fix the issues as warranty work free of charge. It is so rare to find a company that stands by it's work so completely and honors their promises. Will definitely be using them again in the future.
Thank you so much for this incredible review! We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Standing behind our work and taking care of our customers long after a project is completed is extremely important to us. Drainage projects can involve natural settling over time, and when an issue falls within our warranty, we believe in coming back and making it right. We’ve built our reputation over more than 45 years by honoring our commitments and being there for our customers, and it means a lot to have that recognized. Thank you again for your trust in Tommy Pollina Landscape. We look forward to working with you again in the future!
Really happy with the work from Tommy Pollina Landscaping! Marilee was great to work with—friendly, responsive, and very helpful with recommendations without trying to overcomplicate things. They were able to get us scheduled quickly and completely transformed our yard with new grading and a clean, simple design that looks great. Pricing was competitive, and the crew was professional and did quality work. Great experience overall, and I’d definitely use them again for future landscaping projects.
Thank you so much for the great review! We’re thrilled to hear you had such a positive experience with Marilee and our team. We really appreciate you trusting Tommy Pollina Landscape with your property, and it’s great to hear how happy you are with the grading, design, and finished result. Thank you again for your business and the kind words. We look forward to working with you again on future projects!
We had a fantastic experience working with Tommy Pollina Landscape Company on the complete landscaping of our new construction home. They coordinated every aspect of the outdoor project, from the plants, trees, and shrubs to the steel fence with custom Buechel Stone columns, concrete patio, retaining wall, and Bluestone pavers, engineered NDS drainage, Kichler lighting, irrigation, and final sod installation. There were understandably some delays along the way (weather, material delays, etc), but the end result was absolutely worth it. Dan, Joe, Whitney & the entire crew brought everything together beautifully, and we’re extremely happy with how our outdoor spaces turned out. The finished landscaping has completely transformed the property and made our new home feel truly complete. We would definitely recommend TPLC to anyone looking for a team that can manage a full-scale landscaping project from start to finish!
Hilary, thank you so much for the wonderful review and for trusting Tommy Pollina Landscape Company with the complete outdoor transformation of your new home! This was truly a full-scale project, bringing together landscaping, custom stonework, concrete, Bluestone, fencing, drainage, lighting, irrigation, retaining walls, and sod into one finished property. Projects of this size have a lot of moving pieces, so we especially appreciate your patience through the weather and material delays along the way. Dan, Joe, Whitney, and our entire team are thrilled to hear how happy you are with the finished result. It was a pleasure working with you and seeing everything come together to make your new home feel complete. Thank you again for choosing Tommy Pollina Landscape Company and for the recommendation!
The Pollina Team did an excellent job in meeting our needs. This was the second time we've used Pollina to address issues around the house. We were not disappointed. Thank You!
Thank you so much for the great review and for trusting Tommy Pollina Landscape for a second project! We’re so glad we were able to deliver another great experience. This was a unique project—from removing all of the old concrete, to installing custom-designed channel drains integrated into the brick paver stoop, to building a complete drainage system underneath the new steppers. Highland Park can be a challenging municipality to get projects like this approved and completed properly, but our team was able to navigate the process and get it done. We truly appreciate your continued trust in the Tommy Pollina team. Thank you again!
