So glad to hear that :) Thank you Susie!
I did the Home Manners group training class with my new rescue puppy and had a fantastic experience with Sylvie. She's very knowledgable, had lots of tips tailored to my individual needs, and a great sense of humor which made class fun! At the end of the course my pup was much more obedient and I felt confident that I had the tools I needed to continue -- looking forward to advancing in the next group class!
Thank you so much. You guys did great, and we're so looking forward to seeing you both again :).
We highly recommend Topline K9 solutions. We took our pup to group classes and we were happy with the results. The trainers are very helpful, attentive and give us great tools to work on the problems. We will surely go back again.
Thank you so much Asha! We are so glad that you enjoyed our classes and received results :)
We have worked with the topline trainers extensively with now our third Senior Aussie. Aussie’s have their own behavior issues and seniors sometimes even more . Even in the group training classes, there is individualized attention and you can’t beat the socialization and the coaching. We get complimented on how well behaved our girls are after going through the whole program. They entered the program nervous wrecks and ended getting their CGCs with confidence. Well worth every penny and happy, calm, bonded pupper. (Pictured is the third senior in classes right now, Charlotte…. Already looking more relaxed!)
Thank you Rachael! Such a pleasure working with such devoted owners and wonderful Aussies :)
We paid $3,000 for a two-week board-and-train program. While it wasn’t specifically advertised as aggression-focused, that was one of the main reasons we reached out — we needed help managing tension and fights between our dogs. The only noticeable improvement after training was better leash manners and a few basic commands. There were no in-home sessions, and the aggression issues that led us to seek help were never addressed. After bringing our dog home, we reached out again because her aggression worsened as she was going into heat. It would often take several days for the trainer to respond or schedule a call, and when she finally did, her only suggestion was to buy a muzzle. There was no real follow-up, guidance, or willingness to help us work through the behavior. We were told we’d have lifetime support, but after the program ended, we received no meaningful communication or help. Later, we also learned the company had subcontracted our dog’s training to another trainer and kept $500 for themselves. It’s now been over a year and a half, and we’ve had to manage everything on our own. While we love our dogs and have made progress through persistence, the training offered very little long-term value or professional support. For the price we paid, we expected better communication, follow-through, and genuine care — unfortunately, that wasn’t our experience. If I could leave zero stars, I would.
Thank you for accepting my phone call to clear the air on the subcontracting. I appreciate your update very much as we take our referrals very seriously.
Last year, I signed up for 4 private sessions for a total of $400. The purpose of the training was to work on my dog’s leash reactive behavior. I found the sessions to be completely unhelpful and overpriced. The trainer never explained the importance of positive reinforcement and didn’t even show me how to use treats to reinforce positive behaviors. Not once did he tell me to use treats for training. My dog did not improve at all and I felt defeated. This year, I decided to give dog training another go and took my dog to Teamworks dog training leash reactive dog training for 6 sessions for a total of $175. The training was amazing and made such a difference! I wish I had received such a training last year, as topline did not provide me with any beneficial tools and ultimately my dog spent an entire year with me reinforcing his negative behaviors. Lastly, topline was in support of me using a prong collar on my dog. I thought it was my only option. I used a prong on him for a year and felt so badly but thought there was no other choice. Teamworks dog training doesn’t allow prong collars and my dog is doing perfectly fine without one. I was very disappointed in the training topline k9 provided me and I feel I was completely overcharged.
Hello Isabella, You have the wrong company. I am unable to find you on our client list. We have not done reactive dog private lessons for at least 3 years now. And our fees for private lessons even back then do not match what you paid.
We have taken two classes with Topline K9. We had our one-year-old in Leash Manners as well as Home Manners. Both instructors were great and so patient with our high energy enthusiastic puppy. Our goal is to have him pass CGC class and this is a great start!
Thank you so much Melody! So glad you enjoyed your classes.
Would highly recommend their training services. I noticed a difference just after one class and it has really improved my dog's behavior. Lisa had a great sense of humor and made class fun.
Thank you so much Mollie. So glad you enjoyed our classes!
Such a great program. My puppy and I both learned a lot. We worked through many real life scenarios to keep my puppies safe!
Thank you Hayley. So glad you got a lot of our lessons!
Barkley and I (Nancy Groves) enjoyed our Public Manners Class with Sylvie. She spent time during the hour with each of the dogs addressing the trainer and dog's needs. I saw an improvement. Thank you.
Thank you Paul. It was such a pleasure working with all of you!
