Absolutely 5 stars. We had no idea how to begin the process of selling our house when we first called, but Mike and his team made everything smooth and completely stress‑free. We received a full‑price offer within just two weeks. Their communication, professionalism, and market knowledge were outstanding. Everyone…
We had an excellent experience working with Mike Montpetit (and his team) to sell our home. From start to finish, we were incredibly impressed by his communication, responsiveness, and professionalism. He was always available, kept us informed throughout the process, and made what can be a stressful experience feel seamless.
What really stood out was his in-depth understanding of the market. He had an excellent grasp of current market trends and, more importantly, knew how to translate that knowledge into an effective pricing and marketing strategy. His advice on pricing was spot-on — we received multiple offers, sold our home quickly, and ultimately sold above asking price.
We truly felt that Mike had our best interests in mind throughout the entire process. His combination of market knowledge, strategic thinking, and excellent communication made a huge difference in the outcome. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking to sell their home!

Working with Mike Montpetit and his team to sell my property in Apex was an outstanding experience from start to finish.
From our very first meeting, Mike brought deep knowledge of the local Apex market, providing clear, data-driven advice on pricing strategy and pre-listing preparations. His team made what could have been a stressful process seamless. They coordinated every detail—from pre-listing improvements and staging guidance to professional photography and marketing—with remarkable efficiency.
Communication was prompt, transparent, and proactive throughout the entire transaction. Whenever questions came up during showings, offers, or negotiations, Mike and his team provided level-headed guidance and fought for the best possible terms. The property sold smoothly and on schedule thanks to their strong execution and attention to detail.
I highly recommend Mike Montpetit to anyone looking for a dedicated, experienced, and highly effective listing agent in the Triangle area.

I worked with Jason to purchase my first home. We haven’t closed yet, but I wanted to share the amazing experience I’ve received thus far. At Town and Country, they appear to be about relationships and have a lot of good relationships with contractors, lenders, lawyers, inspectors, etc, to help their clients. When I first interacted with Jason, he provided a lot of helpful info such as this, and has been very patient from start to finish as we figured out what we were looking for and what was on the market. He communicates well, coordinates home tours quickly, and we felt he really did have our best interest in mind. He’s also very knowledgeable and can help coach any new home buyer through the ins and outs of the process.
Edit: revising my rating as my experience with Jason declined significantly once I submitted an offer. Communication became fairly sparse and he typically reached out only when he needed something from me, often at the last minute. He set an expectation with the seller for us to make an offer same day without our knowledge. That left us scrambling to fill out all the docs late at night. We also scheduled our closing roughly a month in advance, yet he didn’t contact me about the final walkthrough until four days before closing. That same day, he informed me he would not be available on the closing date itself.
Routine questions were also often met with a tone suggesting they were an inconvenience and ignored some concerns I brought up. In one instance, he coordinated a repair directly with the seller/seller’s agent without informing me, then provided screenshots of an invoice rather than official documentation to confirm the work. The company was also unreachable and not a listed company which was not reassuring.
Overall, I found the level of communication and transparency fell well below what I’d expect from a real estate agent, particularly during a process as significant as a home purchase.
He also does >40 properties a year which was a red flag at first, but he quickly reassured me that wouldn’t be an issue. Now I doubt that he has the time to coordinate so many properties.

I am certain there will be a rebuttal from Mike Montpetit, but hear me potential clients of his. We had a terrible experience with him. Over the years, I have learned to pay attention to the negative reviews rather than the glowing reviews. We have bought and sold numerous homes throughout the United States and I have to say that Mike Montpetit was the worst agent we had ever worked with on every level. He should be retired. Do yourself a favor and don't hire him. You'll be sorry if you do. We had a pristine White Glove end unit townhome in Cary. Mike Montpetit couldn't sell it. The townhome sat unsold for 7 months. Mike Montpetit would not release us from the contract without us paying him $1,500. He said it was for staging. We found out it was just for a couple of cheap plants, napkins and pillows. And the way we found out is that we had a friend of ours go and view the property and our friend sent us photos. The only reason we stayed with Mike Montpetit is because he refused to release us from the contract; much to our horror and disappointment. In addition, instead of keeping the unit clean and pristine, he let it get extraordinarily dusty. All in all it was a complete dereliction of duty as a seasoned realtor. The upside is once we paid the $1,500 and were released from the contract we hired an agent that we had worked with in the past and of course regretted not hiring again but that's the history. Our new agent sold it within a week for full asking price. Also, just as an aside, when we relisted the property for sale, we relisted it at a higher asking price then when we had the listing with Mike Montpetit. We got full ask and it sold in under a week. Don't let the slick salesman talk and the easy manner fool you. He is long past caring about anything to do with his clients well-being. It's only the money for him and that's it. Consider yourself informed about the truth of the realtor named Mike Montpetit. If I have saved one person from the grief stress and Trauma that we encountered with him then this review will have been well worth it.

Diane Kardash and Daniel Fleming,
The Google review doesn't accurately reflect the events at 2063 Weston Green Loop. It's not fair or reasonable to make these inaccurate assertions on the internet out of spite or vengeance. I take my reputation very seriously and would like you to reconsider your post, please.
You shared with me that you two didn't get along with people in North Carolina and decided to move back to Michigan where you felt more comfortable. I spent dozens of hours months before you ultimately hired me after putting me through multiple exercises relating to market research and proving my track record. I did my best considering your expectations.
We listed your townhouse on October 17, 2025, for $535,000 and had an offer for $532,500 with $7,000 Due Diligence (which you kept) in 11 days. The buyer had an unfortunate accident prior to closing and had to cancel. We went back on the market in mid-November (the worst time of year) and received multiple offers at 98% and 99% of the asking price, which you refused to accept. We did our job and would have sold it again in the spring market, as the other agent did. We were working on two other offers very close to the asking price that we could have worked out.
The bottom line is that the spring market is the optimal time of year, and it's hurting my reputation when people read this overly negative review.
Did you mean to cause pain and violate our termination agreement by slandering my reputation? I have 128 5 star reviews and only on 1 star review, which is yours.
I'm respectfully asking you to remove this comment as we already agreed on $1,500 for a mutual release in the spirit of each of us walking away, absorbing our losses, and not slandering each other online.
For the record, my last 89 listings did extremely well, selling for an average of 100% of list price in 19 days. It would mean a lot to me if this was removed and we didn't dwell on it any more. Thank you for your consideration. I hope you find piece and happiness in Brighton, Michigan.
Good bye and good luck.
