Trop Aquarium

My first time going to this store and I was really impressed! Great selection and competitive prices. Fish are healthy. I was really surprised by how nice and knowledgeable the staff was. Everyone from the guy at the front door to the guy who rang me up were super nice! I can't remember his name but he was really knowledgeable and experienced with angelfish. Anyway he was really helpful and friendly. I live out of state but I will definitely be going back to this store.

Awesome store, except for the older gentleman sales assistant with the black dyed hair. He’s so depressed and sad, it’s like he never wants to be there. I avoid him at all costs and will pretend to still be “looking” until another person is available to assist me. He’s a Debbie-Downer and that definitely impacts sales, when I had him I just hurried and got 1/4 of the plants and fish I wanted - just wanted to get away from him. His attitude is so negative…. Ugh! We’re about the same age so I try to have empathy but if you don’t wanna be there, then don’t! Don’t bring others and customers down too…<br><br>Great store, avoid the older gentleman sales assistant and you’ll be fine!!

5 star Review is for Chris who was genuine and patient despite how hectic and busy the event was the past few days. I appreciate his help carrying some items in our vehicle. We felt welcomed.<br>This is my first time shopping in here. I came back the second day to support cause everyone seemed nice, I guess not... I don’t vibe with Lewis, he is awful in customer service and looked miserable to be there compared to Chris, didn’t seem to know where certain things are…I could have spent more in store but he practically rushed us and gaved looks and sarcastic remarks that felt like he couldn’t wait for use to leave!<br>I wouldn’t dock a review just cause of one bad apple!

Store layout is great and easy to navigate, nest aisles and organized well.<br><br>Customer service is excellent, everyone kept checking on me.<br><br>Inventory is good too! I shop freshwater and they had a huge stock of freshwater fish, community fish, inverts and cichlids.<br><br>Great selection of aquarium rocks and many different kinds of tanks as well

I’m new to the aquarium hobby, so I’ve been checking out several local fish stores, and this one is by far my favorite! I’ve found their prices on plants, decorations, and hardscape, like rocks and driftwood, to be some of the best. The shop is always clean and well organized, and the staff is friendly and attentive, even on busy days.<br><br>I haven’t purchased any fish from them yet, but their prices seem comparable to other local stores. What really stands out to me is that their fish appear healthy and well cared for compared to some other stores I’ve visited.<br><br>The majority of my plants and all of my rocks have come from this shop, and I’ll definitely continue coming back!
