I had Joseph Daugherty represent me in a Family Law contempt case. He was super helpful, very analytical and detailed oriented, and obtained all the evidence from that I submitted to him and filed a stellar response in my defense. Unfortunately this case dragged on for years because I took his advice and filed a counter contempt order so it came to a point where I couldn't afford his services any longer(many wasteful court dates, many postponements, the other party firing their court appointed attorney, etc), but Joseph did his best considering the circumstances. The Contempt order was eventually dismissed during trial based on some clerical error but I was confident that Joseph's filing on my behalf would have let me off with a minor charge at best. Joseph is a nice guy and easy to deal with, shows up ready to go to bat for his clients as well :) Had this been in Criminal Court, I am confident that Joseph would have gotten a positive outcome and I would likely hire him or his firm again. The only negative I would say is that his office did not file proof of service for the counter contempt order(which was served to the opposing party in person)and Joseph told the judge he could walk it down to the court right away, but thankfully the judge was able to accept it. That wasn't really Joseph's fault, but something to keep in mind, because as we all know, one minor clerical error can cost someone a case!
