Google reviewers rate Tutor Doctor highly, citing clear explanations, patient instruction, and improved student confidence across subjects like math, English, and test preparation. Customers frequently praise tutors for punctuality, communication, and adapting to individual needs. However, one low-star review criticizes the company for perceived lack of transparency regarding pricing, cancellation fees, and promised services, contrasting with the generally positive feedback on tutor quality.

I took English lessons with Angie Smucker in an online class. She is punctual, attentive, and very friendly. She explains the assignments clearly and provides plenty of additional learning materials. My English skills have improved significantly. Thank you for her lessons.
I am happy to recommend Angie Smucker as a tutor. She has a very clear and structured way of explaining concepts, which makes even difficult topics feel manageable. What stood out to me most is her patience and the way she adapts her approach based on the student’s needs. She helped me build strong competencies across exams like the SAT, CAT, and IELTS, which played an important role in helping me get into a better school for my Master’s. Beyond test preparation, she also helped me significantly improve my reading, writing, and spoken English skills. Coming from a non-English speaking background, this made a huge difference in my confidence and overall communication. Working with her has always been a positive experience. She is reliable, supportive, and genuinely invested in her students’ success. I would strongly recommend her to any family looking for a thoughtful and effective tutor.

Robert has been a tremendous help to my daughter. She had to take Algebra II over the summer, a course which is crammed into three weeks. He is very patient and explains math in a way she can understand. Robert has also given her advice on applying to colleges, and how to evaluate those schools.

Jordyn Marske was my son's tutor for trigonometry. She did an excellent job explaining what was required in order to do the math problems and brought my son's grade from a C average to a B the first semester and an A the second semester. Thank you Jordyn for all of your hard work. I just had to repost this because I'm so pleased.
