Today my 3yr old had her trial class at the west portal tutu school. She was very excited to take her first class but became apprehensive to join in at the start. She is a bit shy so this was expected. The teachers that checked us in and taught the class made zero acknowledgment of her and never even made a point to introduce themselves or encourage her to join in when she became a bit nervous. We left the class disappointed in the complete lack of effort and we will not be returning.

Hi Kelly, I am sorry this shouldn’t have happened. It is completely normal for kids to be apprehensive at their first trial class and I am sorry this was not a good first class experience. We will be calling you shortly to see if we can rectify this situation. Thank you for your review.
My daughter started Tutu School when she was 3 years old and is obsessed. All of the teachers are fabulous, Teacher Tatum is especially wonderful, warm, attentive and keeps her students engaged. When I think of Tatum, she reminds me of ballet classes I had with Miss Tilly growing up in San Francisco- but with a little bit more fun and imagination. I know my daughter will have positive core memories with Tutu School.

Cute studio! They do a great job of incorporating magic into the dance lessons. My daughter loves going.

Loved the ease of scheduling and the flexibility and the fun engaging activities for my 2.5 year old. Highly recommend !!

My kid loves Tutu school, the teacher are great and the class sizes is perfect. Locations are also pretty convenient

My niece loves this school and doing ballet here. The teachers here are amazing and so patient with the littles. You can meet many great parents here with their children. My niece has made many friends and loves coming to class seeing them. Overall an amazing ballet school to go to with such great people.
