Two Men and a Gutter

We had them replace a gutter last Oct. because it was sagging and preventing the rain from properly draining down the spout. Less than a year later, we have the same problem at the same spot. We’ve been calling for months with no response (fyi - we’ve figured out that their number is for a third party answering service, so they’re not helpful at all). Unfortunate (and costly) lesson learned that you get what you paid for. Edit in response to business: Regardless of the legality (to which I disagree), my wife has also called (from a different number) for months without a response. It was not until this review was posted that I received a call back to get yelled at about the review. I literally had to de-escalate the situation by asking what resolution you were looking for and calmly letting you know that I will discuss this with my wife. Update (June 2026): after having intermittent contact and empty promises that they will come back to repair, we got tired of waiting and hired someone else. When they went up to provide me an estimate, they found that about half the hangers were not screwed down. This is clearly just sloppy and unprofessional work. Avoid at all costs.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with this gutter cleaning service. The scheduling could be smoother, but they clean the gutters extremely thoroughly and the price is very reasonable. They also check for any cracks and remind me to seal them in time.

Two Men and a Gutter did a very thorough job cleaning and clearing our clogged gutters. Very pleasant and professional. We will definitely call them again and also request a quote to power wash our concrete.

This is a great company! They provided a free estimate and quickly scheduled the work after giving the quote. They did an excellent job and were the most affordable option among the companies that assessed the issue I needed fixed.

James was very professional, friendly, and did a great job explaining some of the issues and potential issues I was facing. Gutters look great. Would recommend them and will use them again.

Update 12/18/2025: I received a call back regarding this review on my husband's phone on November 22nd from a gentleman who, once again, came into the discussion very aggravated and with an unclear goal. After noting that we were damaging his reputation by posting this review, he went on to insist that a tree had hit our gutter, and that was the cause of the issue. I disagreed as we have cameras on our home (literally right where the gutter issue is happening) and no such thing occurred - nor was there any damage to our roof or the exterior of the house, which would be unavoidable if a tree hit the roof hard enough to dent the gutter. It also feels very unlikely that a tree branch falling would cause the gutter to bow outward in a perfect arch, but admittedly, that's just my take on it. After a lot of back and forth, he finally agreed to come out and fix the issue, noting that we were still under our warranty. The gentleman said that he would be in touch the week after Thanksgiving to book time to come out and fix the gutter. It's now December 18th, and it's been radio silence. I've tried calling the company multiple times and still haven't been able to get a call back from whoever the man was who called us. Their answering service has called back twice asking if we're trying to book new service, and they promise to relay the message when I've explained our situation, but unfortunately, we've still heard nothing and the gutter is still in terrible shape. In response to the follow up review, the work was done under my husband's last name, which the team member who called me was very much aware of, as he mentioned that name when we spoke. I would love to be able to write an update saying that we got a call with a genuine apology and that everything had been taken care of, but we're currently in worse shape than when we started. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original Post: We’ve had an incredibly negative experience with Two Men and a Gutter and feel obligated to warn others. Last year, we paid several hundred dollars to have a wider gutter installed over our garage. Within 6 months, it began pulling away from the house, bowing, leaking, and overflowing. As shown in the photos, the work has clearly failed. We’ve spent months trying to reach the company for a follow-up—calling over a dozen times and leaving more than ten messages—yet we can only get through to an answering service and have never received a real response. The only callback we did get came after my husband left a Google review—only for the person from the company to call and scream at him. He provided a number to call back (unsure about the purpose, because he didn't offer any resolution on the call, he just yelled) but we’re now right back in the same loop of unanswered messages. At this point, we don’t even feel safe having them return to our home. We’re deeply disappointed in the poor workmanship, the complete lack of customer service, and the aggressive reaction to an honest review. I strongly recommend avoiding Two Men and a Gutter. Choose a company that stands behind its work and treats customers with basic respect.
