We recently had engineered hardwood floors installed in our new home, and we could not be happier with the experience and the results. Leo and his crew are top notch. They are professional, friendly, thorough and prices are more than fair. You can’t find quality work like this anymore. They refinished our 30 year old white oak floors in 2024 and other vendors said we would need them replaced and Leo made them look brand new without any replacement wood. He built custom baby gates for our extra wide stairs and 2 years later fixed a broken LVP threshold and replaced with a white oak one that matches our floors perfectly at no charge. We cannot recommend them enough.

UPDATE: I want to clarify a few things. 1. The banisters and spindles were not finished by a previous company. Your company was hired to stain the treads, banisters, and paint the spindles as part of the project to improve the overall look. 2. The results were not limited by prior work, the workmanship simply wasn’t done correctly. There were visible scratches, missed spots, drips, puddled paint, uneven caulking, and unfinished corners on all 15 steps. These issues didn’t come from prior work; they came from the actual job performed. 3. You did not complete the riser painting, caulking, or line work. It wasn’t that the finish “didn’t meet my standards.” It was simply left incomplete and sloppy. Not charging for unfinished work isn’t goodwill, it’s standard and appropriate. 4. You were given multiple opportunities to correct the work. I did ask for corrections. The only reason the job wasn’t completed was because the issues were significant enough that I didn’t feel comfortable having the same worker redo them. The trust had already been broken. We ultimately agreed on a reduced balance for that reason. My review was honest and fair. I rated the floors well, and I clearly stated the issues specific to the stairs. I also mentioned that you were willing to make it right. Nothing was misleading or exaggerated. Not to mention, how much more money it will cost me now to get it done correctly. When what I wanted was clearly stated multiple times. ——————————————————— The flooring installation was done well, but the stair and banister finishing were not up to professional standards. There were sanding marks, uneven coating, poor paint lines on the risers, and unfinished areas that have to be corrected by another company. The crew also left my porch and yard covered in sawdust and didn’t put the furniture back, which wasn’t addressed. When I brought the issues to the owner, he was respectful, did refund us some money and offered to help correct the work. I ultimately chose to hire another company to finish it. Sharing this so other homeowners know to make sure to communicate your needs clearly upfront.

The price was excellent, his team was able to start the job earlier than anticipated, and they promptly fixed any slight imperfections that were noticed before concluding the project. Ultimate Flooring refinished our first floor hardwoods and added new ones to our second floor. They refinished our steps and added vinyl flooring to a bonus room. The owner Leo is incredibly knowledgeable, collaborative, on time, professional and reasonably priced. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have their floors done.
