Before Cinnamon went to training with Tilly we were ready to give up. We tried everything and nothing worked so decided to try the 2 week training as a last resort. She came back a new dog! She listens to commands, is playful and no accidents! Thank you so much for all you have done - now we can enjoy her. She thinks she is a lap dog though. 😉

We sent our Aussie, Zuko, to Underworld Kennels for a 2-week board and train with Raelene—and honestly, it was the best decision we could’ve made. Zuko had been dealing with anxiety around people and unfamiliar environments, constantly barking and on edge. We had tried other training before, but it never truly clicked for him. Raelene came out for a free consult and within minutes we knew she understood what Zuko needed. Her calm, confident approach and deep knowledge of dog behavior stood out immediately. Throughout the entire training, she kept us in the loop with pictures, videos, and updates. Zuko wasn’t just kenneled—he was living, learning, and growing. He went to stores, parks, trails—exposed to real-world scenarios that built his confidence. When he came home, it was like a weight had been lifted off him. He’s no longer anxious or reactive around people, inside or outside our home. He’s confident, grounded, and more in tune with his surroundings. His leash manners are flawless, his heel is solid, and his off-leash recall is spot on. He’s using his nose more, making better decisions on his own, and just overall feels like a more balanced, happy dog. If you’re looking for someone who truly gets dogs and wants your dog to succeed in the real world—not just perform in a training room—do yourself a favor and go with Raelene. She trains dogs and owners the right way, the first time.

A True Dog Whisperer – More Than Just a Trainer! My husband and I moved to Utah, we were in desperate need of a skilled dog trainer—luckily that’s when we found Raelene Penman. What a blessing that turned out to be! Ray has now trained all three of our beloved fur babies, our two boys and most recently, our newest addition, Miss Chanel, a beautiful blue merle French Bulldog. Chanel came back to us well-trained, well-behaved, and honestly, better than ever. Her confidence, obedience, and overall demeanor were transformed in just a short time with Ray. But Raelene is so much more than just a dog trainer—she’s become part of our family. The love and care she gives our dogs is genuine, and it shows in how much they adore her. Anyone lucky enough to meet Ray and experience her magic is truly fortunate. Her knowledge, experience, and deep compassion for animals make her one of a kind. From the moment we connected with her, I knew we were in the best hands. She worked with both of my dogs: Louis V, a Boston Terrier, and Armani, a French Bulldog. Each of them spent two weeks with Ray, and the transformation was nothing short of amazing. They came back home not only well-behaved and super trained, but also more confident and responsive. Her ability to understand and communicate with dogs is truly unmatched. But what makes Raelene stand out even more is her heart. Over time, she didn’t just become our trainer—she became Auntie Ray to Louis and Armani. She treats them like they are her own fur babies, and they absolutely adore her. Underworld Kennels helped me with puppy training with my German Shepherd so when I learned that I needed a major back surgery and would be unable to care for my GS, I immediately thought of Rae and Tilly. I did not want to simply "kennel" her. There were some behaviors I hadn't been able to get on top of that needed a professional trainer. Shortly before surgery, my husband also took turn for the worse and was placed in hospice. I don't want to go into too much detail, but when I needed help, Rae and Tilly were there. When I was able to pick up my dog again, I was confident that I could bring her home without worrying whether I could handle her while I was still healing from my surgery. Tilly spent the time to explain what she had worked on with Dodee, kept me updated with photos and messages, and worked with me to make sure I was able carry on with her training. My family was blown away when they came to visit and instead of a hyper, out of control dog, she was well behaved and enjoyable to have around. I am so impressed with both the level of training my dog received but also the compassion and caring that was shown to me as I went through the hardest time of my life. I have a dog I now absolutely love and I feel like I have an extended family because of the caring and compassion they gave me.

At the end of the two weeks Milo was able to walk around a public area with his tail wagging! Allowing people to hold him. This has been such a great experience and Raelene has even been helping me keep up with Milo after the fact which is amazing! 10/10 recommend!
