After attempting a DIY spring replacement, my garage door started getting stuck and wouldn’t open fully unless I tried several times. I called Jason, and even over the phone he was incredibly helpful. He walked me through diagnosing the issue and offered a few clear solutions. Thanks to his guidance, the system is now working perfectly.
I truly appreciate his honesty and willingness to help without hesitation. I highly recommend Jason and will definitely reach out to him again if any issues come up in the future.
Jason came to see the garages and gave a very reasonable quote for installing 2 digital belt garage door openers. He recommended reinforcing each door with a steel bar at minimal additional cost. He worked diligently on the scheduled day and we are very pleased with his work. A+.
Up and Down Garage Door is a legit local small business and does great work. Jason owns and operates it for over 30 years. I was extremely careful in choosing who I worked with because so many of these garage door companies in nj are actually Precision Door operating under a false google business name, its all marketing bait and switch from Precision and huge upsells.
Jason at Up and Down was awesome. He answered himself, scheduled service first thing Monday after a long holiday weekend, was here timely and promptly, quoted a fair price before doing the garage door spring replacement, and then did the work. Super nice guy. Support him!
Highly recommend Up and Down Garage Doors NJ! I called asking if they can winterize/insulate my garage door because I see a lot of daylight and it's freezing in my garage. Jason turned around from where he was going and came to my house in less than 15 mins. He found the issues and fixed it right away. No more daylight! He charged me such a reasonable low price that I just doubled it with cash cause he was so great. If you are looking for someone who's courteous, professional, knowledgeable, prompt and reasonable.....do not hesitate to give Jason a call!
If I could give Up & Down Garage Doors LLC more than 5 Stars I would. They did a great job and had plenty of options for garage doors and motors. They were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. If you need a garage door, opener & service this is the company to call.
I highly recommend Up and Down Garage Doors LLC. They were very responsive to any calls or questions I had, the price was reasonable and Jay did an excellent job installing new doors for me.
Jay Paternostro makes garage door installation look easy. No stress, quick and reliable. He knows the quality of different door manufacturers and will share his experience and insights with you.
He installed 2 garage doors with new lifts for us and had everything sealed up tight and operating in a day. He took the time to show us all the associated features, and talked us through care of the springs.
Everyone seems to have a garage door guy, and many just install anything. Jay makes sure you get the best quality of door for the money you’ve budgeted.
Thanks Jay for the installation!
