A few months ago I hired Urban Earth to completely gut my back yard and re-do it. It was a pleasure working with the landscape designer, however, she had to go on a medical leave about 2 days before the job was completed. My job was turned over to Steve, the owner. He has been extremely poor at communication, and does not even return phone calls. I have 5 dead bushes, a problem with my artificial turf, and also with my pavers. I spent $80k on this yard and I am far from happy that these problems are not being addressed. I noticed today that the lowest rated Google reviews on Urban Earth are not available to view. If Steve doesn’t want bad reviews then he should provide better customer service. I’m hoping that this review will get his attention and we can get these issues squared away. If I had it to do over, I would not hire Urban Earth.

Urban Earth Landscaping did an outstanding job transforming our front yard. They completely removed almost all of the existing landscaping and replaced it with decorative gravel, a new irrigation system, and beautiful new plantings. The finished project looks fantastic, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. We worked closely with Nigel, who designed the entire project and personally supervised the work from start to finish. He was great to work with, communicated well, and made sure everything was done right. We are extremely happy with the finished product and would definitely recommend Urban Earth Landscaping to anyone looking to transform their landscaping!

Jaime Reyna arrived as scheduled today and did a fantastic job. Not only did he replace the 3 plants I needed, he took extra effort to review the emitters and re-adjust where necessary and went the extra mile to re-arrange the 5 Ivy vines correcting for better exansion, and he answered my additional questions about my raised beds. He certainly adds to Urban Earth's good reputation. I will ask for him for any future needs I have. He needs to be well rewarded for his work! Thanks, Carol
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review, Carol! We're thrilled to hear that Urban Earth Landscaping provided such exceptional service during our visit. We believe that great landscaping goes beyond completing the task at hand, and it's wonderful to know that Jaime took the time to inspect your irrigation emitters, reposition your ivy vines for healthier growth, and answer your questions about your raised beds. Your recognition of his professionalism, expertise, and willingness to go the extra mile means a great deal to us. We'll be sure to share your kind words with Jaime and reward him well. Thank you for trusting us with your yard. We look forward to helping you with any future projects or maintenance needs. We'll be happy to send Jaime your way again! Raul Ortiz and his crew did an amazing job. I only needed to have the grading redone at my new home to help with drainage and they went above and beyond! got rid of the weeds that blew in and removed left over cement and debris from the construction of the home.

What a wonderful and rewarding experience!! Our garden was destroyed when the old septic tank was replaced; old trees were pulled up and tossed to the side, the hardscape demolished, the drip system was wrecked. In just two-days, Carlos and his team completely built a new, beautiful retaining wall. They also redesigned the drip system so it better watered the garden, plus brought in topsoil and tons of gravel to reshape the garden. The plants and trees planted in the new garden were healthy xeric scape plants. The team alway arrived early, immediately got to work, and worked "full-out" the entire time. I can't say enough how pleased we are with the quality of their work.
Thank you so much, Susan, for your thoughtful review and for sharing your experience with our team! We know how stressful it can be to see a garden and outdoor space disrupted after a major septic replacement project, so we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help bring your landscape back to life. We’re thrilled to hear that Carlos and his crew exceeded your expectations with the new retaining wall, improved drip irrigation system, and refreshed xeriscape design. Creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces while using healthy, water-wise plants that thrive in New Mexico’s climate is something we’re very passionate about. We also appreciate your kind words about the team’s hard work and professionalism. Carlos and the crew take great pride in showing up early, working efficiently, and treating every project with care and attention to detail. Thank you again for trusting Urban Earth Landscaping with your garden transformation. We hope you enjoy your beautiful new outdoor space for many years to come! Urban Earth Landscaping 🌿

Urban Earth Landscaping did a wonderful job of transforming our grass yard into a beautiful xeriscape. They also replaced a 35 year old retaining wall with a split face stone wall. Mina did the landscaping plan with renderings for us to see and was very hands-on managing the project. Daniel Jr. and teammates Juan and Genaro did an awesome job with the implementation and were very flexible with minor changes. Makes me wish we had another project for them to work on!!
