What an amazing find in historic Savannah. I wanted to buy every map I saw. The history this place holds is beyond words. I will be back!

This place is so cool. They have something for everyone from map/antique stationary experts and collectors to someone just looking for that random oddity to bring a room together. I really love this place. I will 1000% be back for more items. The woman was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Great place to check out and find peices that speak to you!

What a great store! Went for a short trip to Savannah and been told that I've gotta visit it and it exceeded my expectations - the atmosphere, the art, and all the different categories of things I never knew existed. Awesome experience!

Don't expect to pop in and out quickly and move on. You'll want to leave yourself time to search and discover. Cool small items as well as larger, pricier items that are really unique.

Love, love, love this store! The store hours are a bit tough to work around if you are only in Savannah for a couple of days, but I am so happy we were able to make it work. I could have spent hours browsing through the wonderful collections of antique maps, naturalist prints, post cards, books, music, etc. While the sheer number of items can feel overwhelming, the collections are organized in a clear manner. I was especially thrilled to find two pieces of antique liturgical sheet music similar to those used for Gregorian chant. I had looked for something like this in other stores for several years with no luck, and there they were, just sitting atop a file cabinet! I will definitely be visiting VJ Duncan’s again the next time I am in Savannah.

What a hidden gem this place is. We stumbled on it while walking around Savannah on a girls weekend. Terrific place to purchase unique artwork for your home. I bought an antique railroad state map for my husband, he’s going to love it. Definitely go check it out when you are here!

I went there for the first time today. It was tucked out of the way and I accidentally went into the store next door mistakenly. But I found them and walked away with 4 decades of Hemingway articles compiled into one pretty blue leather book for the most reasonable price! I will definitely be back now that I know where they are.
