Conveneint and appreciated but the prices are insulting. I have a hard time understanding why groceries that are local cost significantly more and not less than things that are shipped cross-continentally. I do like to support local stores when possible, so there are health and nutrition products that we buy from there even though it would save a lot of money to order on Amazon.

Valley Natural Foods
Valley Natural Foods at a glance
Customers frequently cite the store's diverse inventory of local, organic, and gluten-free products, as well as helpful staff and convenient amenities like a drive-thru. Recurring themes include high pricing for many items and inconsistent produce quality, with some noting mold or wax-coated fruit. Additional criticisms involve expired goods remaining on shelves, reduced deli and bakery quality, and occasional staff rudeness during peak hours.

I called 4 upscale grocery stores in Bloomington, Edina and Eagan, and none could provide veal shanks nor beef shanks, but Valley Natural Foods was able to get them, and even gave me a call to let me know the shanks had arrived. Excellent service! Plus the cashiers were helpful and nice.
The sushi was fresh and tasty. Many choices for beverages. My son's favorite place for lunch.
Always fresh and tasty. Plenty of seating inside and out, Good spot for lunch.
Decent but the produce section is definitely hit or miss. The apples look like they have been sprayed with pesticides or wax coated lately. Bananas all look like they have mold growing. But they have some good stuff. Apples get sketchy sometimes.
A solid co-op. Not huge but Has everything needed for most days. The best thing is the 10% off monthly coupon for your bigger monthly visits
This place is clean, tidy, and has everything you need—which is fantastic—but the price is a bit expensive.
This place rocks! Tons of healthy choices/alternatives
I have found some good local produce here and good dairy. However, the staff can be rude. Some are kind and helpful. The staff at the smoothie bar are overall friendly, however, a staff member treated me rudely when I asked for less chia seeds in the acai bowl. The acai bowl was covered in chia seeds. Normally, I get about a tablespoon or less which is perfect, but this time it was covered in chia seeds. I kindly asked for a new bowl, because I couldn't taste the acai bowl. The staff member had a disgruntled face (they were not helping any other customers, this was during less busy hours) and made a comment. The kindest staff member is an older male, and he has been very kind and personable. The staff near the vitamin and essential oils section tends to be rude and seem like they do not want to answer your questions about a product. Please have a meeting or something and work on staff being genuinely kind and personable. People will take their money and go elsewhere.
