Ordered 3 items posted on website for a price listed. The business had an error on the website and refused to honor the price. Said there was some available when purchasing. Payment was made. Then all of a sudden they are out and need to cancel the order. Admitted it was an error, but refused to honor it.

Hi April. We do understand your frustration with the situation. Unfortunately, the item you ordered was listed incorrectly on our website and priced by the foot instead of full roll pricing. We have not stocked this product for a few years, so we do not have any available in the store. I did speak with you in person and explained the situation. We have since corrected our inventory and the pricing discrepancy (per foot versus per roll). We work very hard to have correct information on our website, but we clearly failed in this instance. Another good experience at True Value - Vassar! Cashiers were courteous and extra helpful, and the gentleman who mixed my paint samples took the extra time to match them to the Detroit Lions colors I was looking for! What a credit they are to their community! Thanks again, True Value staff!

If you are looking for small town kindness… this isn’t the place to go! I called to see if they rented a certain tool and how much a 4 hour rental period was. I explained that I would be there in 30 minutes and asked if I would have enough time and the associate said yes. I arrived to the store only for them to tell me that I would have to pay for an extra 4 hours if I wanted to rent it. Definitely will just go to a big box store next time!
