I would not hire Vector Moving again. I recently returned from vacation and, while unpacking some remaining boxes, discovered that two watches were missing from my collection. Finding those watches missing after trusting a moving crew inside my home has been deeply upsetting. Two movers had packed the room where I kept the watches. One appeared to be around 40, with a black beard that had noticeable gray in it. The other appeared to be in his mid-to-late 30s, wore a cap, and was addressed by a name that sounded like “Alik” or “Alex”—I am not certain of the exact name. They spoke Russian, and I later learned that both were from Kazakhstan. These details describe the workers who packed that room. During packing, I walked through the rooms and noticed one of them closely examining my belongings. That caught my attention at the time. Discovering the missing watches afterward has made that memory especially troubling. I did not see anyone take the watches, and I cannot establish who was responsible. I discovered the loss later, rather than immediately after the move. However, the watches are missing, and the room where they were kept was packed by these two workers. That is the experience I am reporting. To be fair, the foreman was professional, respectful, and personable. I appreciated his conduct. But a good impression of the foreman does not erase the distress of discovering that valuable personal possessions are missing. A moving company’s responsibility goes beyond loading a truck and delivering furniture. Customers are trusting the people it sends with access to their homes and belongings. Vector Moving should take concerns like this seriously. My advice to other customers: keep watches, jewelry, and other valuables with you, document them before the move, and check your belongings promptly afterward. Based on this experience, I no longer have the confidence to trust Vector Moving with my possessions.

Jenna, we take an allegation like this extremely seriously, which is why we immediately searched our records when this review was posted. We have been unable to locate any move matching the details described here: no booking under this name and no job on which the crew pairing described worked together. If you booked under a different name, please contact our office or email [email protected] with your contract number, service address and move date, and we will open a formal claim and investigation the same day. For transparency: the employees referenced were made aware of this review and have volunteered, on their own initiative, to participate fully in any investigation, including encouraging a review of any home or building security footage from the move date. We support that completely and we would cooperate fully with any police report, which we encourage for any theft claim. We will also note two things. First, this review recalls a remarkable level of detail: names, ages, physical descriptions and the workers' country of origin - months after the move and following a vacation, yet none of it corresponds to any job in our records. Second, as a matter of policy: we treat fabricated or targeted reviews as a serious matter, and where a review is shown to be fraudulent, we pursue all available legal remedies for defamation. Posting false accusations of theft against identifiable workers is not a gray area. If this review reflects a real move, the path to answers is simple: contact us with your booking details. Our line is open.
