VEG ER for Pets

I had to bring my cat in Tuesday late night due to lethargy and not eating/drinking as well as vomiting, her temperature was 103.6 on arrival. •I didn’t love the intake process, as all of the vital signs were done in the middle of the room with dogs every direction, which made me and my cat nervous. They did put us in a private room after this. •We arrived at 12am, saw a doctor briefly at 1 who told us it would be an additional 1.5-2 hour wait. We did not see another person until 320am. They drew blood at 4am (they did blow two of my cats veins, which another vet mentioned to me due to bruising a few days later) and medicated my cat at 5am. I did not get my discharge papers until Saturday. I wish they had been upfront about the wait time when I initially arrived so I could know what to expect. While I feel that the tests that were ran were appropriate, I do question why my cats fever was not treated. We presented to our regular vet the next morning to find her fever had increased by over a full point (104.7 only 5 hours later) I also question why her vital signs were not repeated despite being there for five hours. The price was reasonable and they offered afterpay, which was nice. Overall, not the worst experience, but certainly not the best.

Dr. Morgan, Kai, & Jordan helped take care of my chihuahua who was more reactive than usual after being injured. They were more than happy to take over and get him the help he needed. I really enjoyed that I could be with him every step of the way and that Dr. Morgan explained exactly what he was doing as he was doing it. Even though I already trusted them by this point. It was very reassuring. Thank you guys for your assistance and care!

My first time having to go there in an emergency was very inviting and comforting. All of the women that worked with Stella did an excellent job in making sure she was comfortable, and they communicated very well with us. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends.

Cannot say how much I appreciate them. I truly believe they did everything they possibly could to help my boy and take care of me. He's an older, meaner, country dog and Dr. Mckee was patient and very attentive. She asked a lot of questions and never made me feel like she didn't want to help him as much as possible. I didn't catch the techs names, but they were also wonderful.

The people here are so caring and amazing. I was an emotional mess and they helped me make sense of everything. They were quick and efficient even through the chaos that showed up there. I can't recommend them enough

Had a fabulous visit. We hate to have to go, but when we do we are ALWAYS treated with such compassion and care. Tonight was no different, Nellie’s team; Grace and Dr. Shelby were fabulous and deserve all the praise!! Thank you!

This place is a diamond in the rough. My four year old dog needed emergency care and my vet sent me here. They were waiting for me at the door. I was able to sit with her throughout all procedures... everything. She needed to be hospitalized for the night and they had a room for us to sleep in. The staff is AMAZING! I cannot begin to tell anyone how wonderful this place is. It's open and you can see your pet at all times. By the time we left, I literally felt like I knew everyone. I HIGHLY recommend this place for your pet. Considering the circumstances, it was such a positive experience. I give 10 stars!!! Thank you, VEG!!

We have had the best ER/Urgent care experience we have ever experienced with a pet! Our dog and we were treated with respect and compassion, we were treated as promptly as possible. The cost was what I would expect or less for an emergency room - but, above all every person went above and beyond to make sure our dog was comfortable every step of the way!
