Jen was so professional - talented, on time, and nice to work with. I’ve been thinking about designing my office for three years but never could come up with something I liked on my own. I love her final design recommendation and can’t wait for it to come to life.

Jen helped me with an (almost) full home renovation- living room, family room, mud room, powder room, 2 full baths plus 4 bedrooms, whole home flooring, etc. Without her help, I wouldn’t have known where to start and would have probably made my whole house look like what I thought I wanted only to hate it after a couple of years. Jen took photos of inspiration plus my words and turned our house into a home, truly listening to what I wanted. I wanted timeless, not trendy- something I wouldn’t want to change 5 years, and Jen walked me through that process and then delivered. Another thing I appreciated was her pricing options and flexibility in terms of what I wanted per room (she charges per room). Do I just want design? Do I want furniture choices? Accessories/art? It wasn’t just one price, where I’m paying more but getting less. If I wanted more, I simply paid for her service for that space. I had spoken with other designers who didn’t have that structure and it was a big turn off. I could go on and on! I appreciated the time and care Jen took in the design and elevations provided to our contractor. When I first started the process of looking for a designer, I thought I could have designs and start demo within a month or so. So while I was initially a bit upset to start renovations with a newborn, I quickly realized that the attention to detail and care wouldn’t have shown in the design and execution if rushed. I’m so happy with my home and would use Jen again in a heartbeat!

Our family recently purchased an older home in Huntington Woods and we were looking to renovate the interior while maintaining its historical character. This was our first big renovation project with a fairly broad scope that we were looking for guidance on. We interviewed a number of designers and “design-build” firms, but Jen and VERSA really stood out among the rest. She emphasized historical preservation to maintain the charming character of the home/neighborhood and was also very client focused. She made sure to adapt everything to our tastes and desires while at the same time providing guidance and honest feedback when we asked. Her design specifications are incredibly detailed and made the transition to the construction process seamless. This being our first large renovation project, Jen guided us through the contractor selection process and found us an amazing contractor that brought Jen’s design to life. VERSA was excellent in collaborating and coordinating with the contractor and she saw the project through to the very end through all the minute details and scope changes that arose. The final product is gorgeous and we couldn’t be happier with our dream home that Jen helped create. Thank you Jen and the VERSA team!
