Big place, nice fields, need more water jugs for public use and more shaded areas in the heat.

Veterans Park and Athletic Complex
Veterans Park and Athletic Complex at a glance
Reviewers praise the well-maintained athletic fields, walking trails, and playgrounds, noting ample parking and generally clean facilities. However, recurring complaints highlight that sports fields are often restricted to reserved teams, preventing public use. Additionally, visitors frequently report issues with restroom cleanliness, locked facilities during events, and insufficient shaded areas or handicap parking for those with mobility needs.

The park is great, I love it. There is one MAJOR ISSUE. The restrooms are almost always gross. The trash cans are often overflowing with used toilet paper and the toilet are so unclean that you aren’t comfortable using them… I love and appreciate the park, but I really hope they do better on this issue
Field lights are always off even though field status shows it’s open. In order to turn lights on at night you have to reserve a field and pay.
Do not leave your stuff out while your between games here its a guarantee it grows legs..People suck
Go check out the trails! The historical statues on the trail are fantastic. Educational and enjoyable.
They have done a great job maintaining the grass fields for soccer teams!
Great walk honoring veterans! Nice clean park. Be prepared for big events going on. May not be able to use or get to all parts of the park. Park can be closed at times. Check Google before going.
Great trails, play grounds, and plenty of room to run around. Clean bathrooms, too.
Nice walking trail but it’s a bit ridiculous that the sports fields are closed to the public. You would think in a public park that the soccer and baseball fields would be available to use if not reserved for a team :/
Really really nice park. Walking war museum tour with mostly shaded paved trails. Multiple soccer and baseball fields.
