We visited for a friend's birthday party. The cost of renting the large shelter house sounded reasonable. The kids had a blast despite a ton of rain. The area was clean, trash cans were empty. There was a section of the park taped off with caution tape but the kids just played around it.

Excellent playground, though not great for littles (3 & under). No shade on playground, but shaded pavilions nearby. Splash pad is legit! While most people bring picnics, the small snack shack is decent, has generally good prices, and good assortment of cold treats. Definitely a go-to in Delaware.
