We hired Victory Cleaning Systems to help clean and restore the marble in our primary bathroom as well as the island in our kitchen. They did a great job and the marble looks almost like new. Dan and his crew showed up on time every day and completed the project just as promised. I'd highly recommend them.
They cleaned, sealed, and colored our shower and grout today. Wow! What a difference! Looks great! Workers were so polite and friendly. I would highly recommend them.
Thanks Larry! Glad the shower came out great, it was a pleasure working with you.
Victory Cleaning stained the concrete floors in our basement, and we are very happy with how they turned out. We were looking for a natural, rustic look, and they helped us work through several different options. They were thorough, hardworking, and communicated with us throughout the process. We especially appreciated that they were able to show us sample finishes directly on our floor so we could see what different techniques would look like in the space. The process felt very collaborative, and the finished floors turned out great. We would definitely recommend Victory Cleaning
Thanks Lindsey! Glad the samples helped you land on the look you wanted, those floors came out great.
Very professional with attention to detail. I've had them out for cleaning our carpets to replacing tiles that were chipped or broken. Great company to deal with
Thanks Todd, we appreciate you having us out over the years!
Great service, the Victory Cleanining team was very flexible meeting my scheduling needs and did an excellent job. The crew was was on time and very focused on on meeting my expectations.
Thanks Bill, glad the timing worked out and the floor came out the way you wanted.
I’m updating my review after reading Victory Cleaning Systems’ response because there may have been a misunderstanding about the scope of the work. I hired Victory to professionally clean my garage floor and remove the sticky residue/substance that was present. To their credit, the sticky substance was removed. However, after paying $500, I was disappointed with the overall appearance of the floor afterward. There were still noticeable dark areas, streaking, scuff/footprint marks, and significant differences in the appearance of the concrete. In their response to my original review, Victory stated that grinding would have been necessary to correct some of the discoloration and differences in the floor. I do not recall grinding being discussed with me as something that might be necessary before I agreed to the $500 cleaning. Had I understood beforehand that the cleaning process was unlikely to produce a more uniform appearance without an additional grinding service, I may have made a different decision or discussed other options first. I did tell them afterward that I had assumed more of the discoloration would come off during the cleaning, so there was clearly a difference between what I expected and what they understood they were being hired to accomplish. Ultimately, the specific sticky residue I contacted them about was removed, but the overall finished appearance was not what I expected from a $500 professional floor cleaning. I think clearer communication beforehand about the limitations of the cleaning—and the possible need for grinding—would have prevented the misunderstanding.
Dustin, you told me what you wanted done. Your words were "I was trying to get that sticky substance off." We got it off. Your review does not say otherwise. Before I quoted anything, I asked you directly whether you had been trying to strip a paint or coating off the floor. You told me no, and that you did not know where the substance came from. In the photos you sent me that same day, a jug and a paint scraper are sitting on the garage floor at the edge of a large area where the coating has been chemically removed. That area stops at a hard edge, which is what a stripper leaves and what a stain never does. It is also why you told me the sticky substance was "not even half" of the garage. The sticky substance was the coating you had softened. You wrote out the cleaning process yourself, degreaser through truck-mounted extraction, and I confirmed it. That is exactly what we performed. What your photo shows now is the line between where the coating came off and where it did not. No cleaning removes that. Grinding does, and I told you so before you hired me. Grinding is a separate service at a separate price, and that has not changed. Your text to me afterward was "Sorry I just assumed it would have come off today."
UPDATE to my review below: NEW review: Dan’s team returned this week to polish my marble island and restore my large marble hearthroom and kitchen floor. To my delight, when I saw the final work, it looked like I had a newly installed island and floor. I cannot say enough good things about working with Victory - great communication, on time, careful in moving furniture and decor, reasonable pricing and most of all, true craftsmen in the quality of their work. Five stars!! ORIGINAL review: I have used Dan and his skilled team for almost a decade to care for the extensive marble floors and countertops in my home. I am very, very particular (probably an understatement) and have been delighted by the work that Dan and his team have done polishing my marble, repairing floor cracks and sealing my marble over many years. Most recently they repaired cracks with matching epoxy and before that, installed an innovative new “anti-etch” product to seal my marble countertops. Others I contacted did not have the training to do the anti-etch, but Dan had made the investment in the training - and did it to perfection over three days. The countertops now look great and will he impervious to spills from wine, lemons, and cleaners. The floors are great as well. Five stars to Dan and a Victory!
Carolyn, thank you for the time in taking to write your review. We are glad you love the counters!
Dan came and gave us an estimate to clean and repair my travertine in my home on the We accepted. Red flag #1 was that he requested half down ($5500). We luckily didn't agree to that, but did give him $1,000. He told us they would start the following week. We had to request the written estimate multiple times before he would provide it. They said it would be a three day job and probably M-W. After not hearing from him on the date, we emailed and asked for an update. He said looked like Tuesday would be the day they started. On Tuesday we had still no confirmation but I took off work Tuesday -Thursday. The crew finally showed up at 10 am on Tuesday. The first day we were told they would get the showers completed. They arrived at 10, left at 11:09 to go to lunch. Came back at 11:40 and then at 12:38 they told me bathrooms were completed and they would be back tomorrow to start on floors. They left. When I went to look at all three bathrooms, I was shocked. They didn't clean them, didn't repair grout or the base caulking. They sealed over the dirty shower! And the products they used ruined my oil rubbed bronze fixtures. They didn't protect my carpet in my master and walked through the sealer and tracked through the rest of my home. They used microfibers to walk on. When my husband called Dan, he stated it was an off day, and they could correct it all tomorrow. They left products and supplies in my garage, so based on the shotty workmanship, we googled them. They were not even to be used on travertine! No wonder my bathrooms are destroyed. I emailed Dan and told him based on the days events that we did not fee like they were capable of correcting their work, and that we wanted them to come get their stuff. He emailed me back and only said "he would have someone there by 9:30 to pick up our things. Sorry it did not work out. That is not the standard we hold ourselves to". He didn't offer to replace the ruined fixtures, or return our deposit. The showers are in worse shape now then before. Since there was no offer of remedy, I now have to hire someone else to correct their work. I want everyone who considers this company to look at the dates of the reviews. We failed to do that because at first glance they have 5 google stars. But please notice that they are all older besides just a few so something is off here.
Marsha, I'm sorry this ended the way it did. For anyone reading: this was scheduled as a four-day project, three hours of driving round trip each day. Day one was a first pass, not a finished job. I offered to have the crew back the next morning to make it right. When we made the drive back the next day, our equipment had been set out on the porch and we were not let in. You chose not to continue, and I respect that. Sealer should not have been tracked through your home on day one, and the crew would have addressed that on day two along with everything else on the scope. On the dates of our reviews: we've completed close to 10,000 jobs over 23 years, and we've never pushed hard for reviews. Fewer than one customer in two hundred writes one, so the ones here span years. That's what a long-running trade business looks like. Dan Brown, Victory Cleaning Systems
Victory Cleaning Services crew did a fabulous job stripping, cleaning, honing, coloring the grout, and sealing our travertine file that is on our entire first floor of our home. The crew did a terrific job working the project in phases across several days and carefully cleaning up at the end of each day. They gave us the matte sheen we were seeking and worked carefully with us on preferences. We love our travertine again! They also stripped, cleaned, colored the grout, and sealed our shower and bathroom tile - refreshing the look and extending the life of existing. The team was very courteous and responsive. We couldn't be happier. Thanks so much for the great work!!
