Over the past few weeks I have been tutored by Lajeeth Thangavel and I already have seen a lot of improvement! The sessions have been very helpful, and also helped identify/target my weaknesses in the SAT so I could improve.

Private SAT tutoring with Victory Prep is worth every dollar! My daughter got her results from her recent SAT this morning and has improved 250 points since her initial March SAT, bringing her score into the 1500s. My daughter’s weakness has always been math, and she scored a 780! I was a little skeptical early in the process, as her initial tutor wasn’t a great fit, but, as promised, Kevin worked to find a tutor that was perfect for my daughter’s learning style and schedule. He absolutely nailed it with our tutor, Rushmia. Rushmia has been fantastic at identifying weaknesses and making sure their time together is focused on those areas. She’s also been great at keeping our daughter engaged over several months of SAT prep without letting her burn out. She seems to know exactly when to push her a little harder and when to let her have an easier week, which has made the whole process much more sustainable. I’ve also really appreciated how communicative both Kevin and Rushmia have been and how willing they are to adapt when our needs or schedules change, including working around summer travel. We have done most sessions at our home, but Rushmia has also been able to provide effective online sessions when necessary. I have also liked the summaries Rushmia provides after each session, indicating details such as what was covered and how many hours are remaining in our package. The 250-point improvement speaks for itself, but I’m just as happy with the experience we’ve had along the way. If I had it to do over again, my only change would be to start sooner with Victory Prep. It’s hard to make your college list when you don’t know if you’ll be able to reach at least their 50th percentile SAT (per their CDS reports). Either way, we are thrilled! Thank you Kevin & Rushmia!
