The entire staff, including, but not limited to, nurses, nursing assistants, physical and occupational therapists, doctors, activity directors, along with everyone else were professional, knowledgeable, caring, and kind.

I've visited fair share of skilled nursing/rehab centers, and Villa Valencia is the absolute best I've seen. The admins, the nurses, the speech/occupational/physical therapists, the guys in the kitchen, the cleaning staff, the maintenance folks. Wow. I am genuinely curious how they attract and retain such angelic CNAs. The CNAs put up with so much anger, meanness, and frustration from my dad who spent 5 weeks there after an emergency hip replacement. I never once saw a scowl, a sigh of frustration, or impatience from them. Just constant, steady patience. To be fair, the food itself was so-so but, hey, it was nutritious and got my cranky old dad healed and on his way. Much love and gratitude to everyone at Villa Valencia. My family was blessed to be in your care.

We were here for two months for my husband, and we really had a good service for him. We really enjoyed the physical therapist, all of the staff, the kitchen, the entertainment and everything was just so good.

Everyone I met was kind, caring and compassionate. The PT team are fantastic. They had me up and walking outside and ready to go home. The nursing staff worked with me to give me my meds in a way tolerate to me - they care! On the care giving side, they are short handed which can be stressful! Meals are surprising good and they can accommodate special diets.

The facility is clean, spacious, and staffed by a professional, compassionate team. I still remember our first night bringing my father in—our family was overwhelmed with sadness, guilt, anxiety, and worry. Then Nurse Joy greeted us with a warm, beautiful smile. Her compassion and genuine kindness immediately brought comfort, especially to my mother. When my father was first admitted, he was essentially bedridden. He couldn’t sit, stand, or walk on his own. He couldn’t speak and needed to be spoon-fed. Yet after just four weeks at Villa Valencia, he was able to sit, stand, and take steps around the facility. He regained his ability to talk and to feed himself. The transformation was incredible—truly like night and day. Our family could hardly believe how quickly he recovered. We are deeply grateful to the entire team at Villa Valencia: the physicians, RNs, OTs, PTs, CNAs, and all the aides. Special thanks to Dr. Tran, Shaina, Kim, Joy, Tita, Veronica, and Victor. It’s a wonderfully well-rounded team, and although I can’t name everyone, I will always remember the kindness, patience, and care they showed to my father—and to my mother, who visited him every day.

Villa Valencia is really really nice. My Mom has been to a number of SNF over the past 10 years and it’s the absolute best. RN Joy greeted us with a warm smile and infectious enthusiasm; receptionist Karen is professional detail-focused and exceptionally organized; the director Spencer checks on my Mom daily and makes her feel cared for and important. The PT staff have done wonders for her strength- she’s now able to walk on the outside of the building and in the garden with their kind assistance. For visitors it is open spacious and airy with ample parking. Mom also likes the food - especially the soup - and has gained weight during her stay and she says that it’s as good as home since they have bingo, arts and crafts, and frequent guests as entertainment. Lastly, her Hoag internal medicine physician Dr Wollank has personally visited her twice and has kept close contact with us to monitor her progress. It’s really a special place
