Amaya did my hair (perfect as usual) The salon was comfortable and everyone was very friendly. The hair wash tub are the best super comfortable and no neck pain. 100% recommend.

I’ve enjoyed coming to Village Parlor the past few visits but unfortunately my last haircut was not what I was expecting. I talked with a student stylist about wanting a long bob to hit my shoulders. When I saw how short my hair was cut it was too late to do anything about it. I’m not happy with this blunt short bob. I should have spoke up during the appointment but I didn’t want to be rude and the hair was already cut so I don’t know what else to do from here on out besides wait for it to grow out.

I've been hesitant to pick a new stylist after the one I've been seeing for many years moved away. I met the owner & his student Zac today, for my first haircut in quite some time, and had an amazing experience. They struck the perfect balance of warmth/kindness and professionalism and I felt very relaxed, listened to, and well taken care of. I walked out feeling lighter & more confident than I have in months! I will definitely be returning and recommending Village Parlor to anyone seeking an affirming and cozy salon experience with highly skilled stylists.

For full Transparency, why are you now posting this "news" 4 months latwr?????Why allow appts to be booked when your closed???? And you also sent a confirmation text to make sure I confirmed .. Waste of time and gas!!!
For transparency we will explain what happened here. We recently added " academy hair cuts " to our service menu. This is for apprentices to open their books on days we are not open to practice their emerging talents at a discount. These services are often available on Sundays and Mondays when we are closed because that is when apprentices are not clocked in as support staff. In this specific incident the client arrived early for their appointment and no one was at the salon yet. We understand the frustration, we can't change our google hours to say we are open on these days though unfortunately. We will try to communicate more in depth on our service menu that these services are offered on days we aren't open perhaps.
