I don't know where to start but Kyle and the team at VB Patios are in a league of their own. We had gotten burned by two "outdoor space" design firms in the area and were at our wits end. I drove to the VB Patios show room and discussed our vision with Kyle for 45 minutes and it immediately undid four months of stress from the bad experiences we had had elsewhere.
They took our grass backyard and did the electrical, plumbing (which was a huge endeavor), gas, pavers, etc. and then built the island kitchen of our dreams.
Every step of the way, Kyle would reach out to let me know that we were at a decision point in the design or installation and gave me price options for what direction I wanted to go. Every time a draft or design was presented, they would take my feedback or wants back and make sure I was 100% satisfied before moving forward. No surprises, no compromises, no regrets.
I have already recommended VB Patios to everyone that's looking at enhancing their outdoor space and would call them up in a heartbeat if we ever move to a new house in the area. Nothing but compliments from everyone that comes over and sees our backyard.
Price assessment: Great price
Services: General construction, Design, Stone masonry, Custom masonry, Patio construction
There are no words to describe the satisfaction that we experienced working with Sean and Virginia Beach Patio co. We started our adventure a week before Thanksgiving through the most harsh conditions but Sean and his team pressed on. Just couldn't believe the dedication of all involved with one mission in mind and that's complete the project with a high quality result. That is what Sean and his team did and we couldn't be happier with the results. Your teams effort changed the quality of life for Mia and I and we couldn't be more greatfull! Thank you Sean and thank you Virginia Beach Patio' for a great experience.
Very Respectfully,
Jonathan and Mia Farrer
We had a very disappointing experience with Virginia Beach Patios. The quality of workmanship did not meet reasonable standards, and we encountered multiple issues that raised concerns about the overall execution of the project.
In addition, our interactions with the owner were difficult and, at times, unprofessional. We felt that our concerns were dismissed rather than constructively addressed. Despite raising specific issues regarding the workmanship, the company did not accept responsibility or provide a satisfactory resolution.
Overall, the experience fell well short of our expectations in terms of professionalism, communication, and quality.

Hi Sarah,
We believe you have the wrong company. We have no record of you being a customer.
Sorry to hear your experience was not great with another company but happy to help if you have any outdoor projects in the future.
Kyle and his crew did an amazing job on our patio. They were so easy to work with, had great attention to detail and left the worksite spotless. They were so patient helping us with the design and making sure that we got it exactly right. Great ideas and paver suggestions. Would not hesitate to hire them again and will definitely be recommending them to everyone we know.

Having used this company’s services (and been thrilled with the results) in 2020, when we decided to do some additional hardscape work, we didn’t solicit bids from any other contractors.
As in 2020, this was a great experience from start to finish. Collaborating with Kyle in the design phase, incorporating changes as the design progressed, we felt confident we were going to get another great feature.
When the work began, we found the crew to be professional, knowledgeable, friendly and totally cooperative. The worksite was left clean and safe each day and as work progressed we were kept well-informed. While onsite, the crew conducted some maintenance and minor repairs to their previous work free of charge.
We’re very happy with the finished product which lies adjacent to their previous work. The two features complement each other extremely well and we plan to enjoy the superior hardscape for many years it come. Still THE BEST contractors we’ve ever worked with.
From estimate to completion my experience with VB Patios has been top notch. I was struggling for many months on choosing replacement pavers and fire pit for my pool area . I also had a drainage issue that needed attention. Kyle was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Everything went so smoothly and was done so professionally. I’m so happy with how it all looks! Angela and Patrick were also great! I highly recommend them!

I can not say enough about this company… they really made this experience easy and worry free for us. We gave them our budget and we discussed the best plan for us.. by the next week they were at my house making it a reality! The costumer service is AMAZING throughout the entire project my sales guy and the contractor would touch base with me they originally gave us a 3 week timeframe they were done in 4 days! We definitely will be back for an extension of our design!

VB Patios goes above and beyond! From the moment I walked into the office, I was greeted by everyone with a friendly smile. They made me feel comfortable and confident I’d be making a great choice on having VB Patios do my patio after getting 3 quotes from other companies. Shane, Angela, Kyle, and Rob are all AMAZING!! No matter who I called, the communication about my patio project couldn’t have gone any better, they were all on the same page and always answered my questions. Rob was the one I seen the most and went above and beyond to make sure my patio was what I wanted it to be at the end and made sure I was satisfied with the progress every step of the way! 1000% WORTH EVERY PENNY to go with VB Patios! You will not be disappointed!
