I would like to give a shout-out of thanks and appreciation to your Angel, Andre Lefebvre. Andre has been a supportive companion to an elderly resident at my residential Assisted Living home for over two years. He has provided the opportunity for our resident to get out of the home and enjoy going to various places and events. This has helped to keep our resident active. Andre is a caring and patient person. He has been a blessing to our resident. Thank you Andre, you ARE a true Angel!

We're deeply touched by your kind words, Janet! We strive to provide compassionate companionship and safe, engaging outings for our clients. Knowing that your resident has shown both medical and social improvement while enjoying their time with Mr. Chase warms our hearts. Thank you for entrusting us with their care—it's an honor to make a positive difference in their life. Please, don't hesitate to let us know if there is anything we may do to assist you in the future!
Marty cares for my dad and has become a part of our family! She is an excellent caregiver-kind, patient, empathetic, helpful and so much more. We would be lost without her! I can't say enough good things about Marty and how fortunate we are that she has come into our lives.

Marty from Visiting Angels Wheat Ridge has been wonderful for my father and our family. My dad has Parkinson's disease, and Marty has a great way of helping him with daily tasks while still encouraging his independence and treating him with dignity.
She is kind, patient, dependable, and easy to work with. She has built a great relationship with my dad, and it's clear she truly cares about him. We are so grateful for Marty and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, trustworthy caregiver.

Thank you, Virginia! We appreciate your heartfelt feedback and are so glad Monique, Tina, Carol, Yesenia, Z, and the rest of our team have provided the care and support you deserve.
I procured services from visiting angels in this location to care for my brother after surgery. My brother got out the of the hopsital 2 days later than planned due to complications. Called the care coodinator as as soon as I found out and she told me this happens all the time and that they would start billing me on the day they discharged him. The care coordinator also shared that the assigned care taker would be calling my brother in the morning to plan out the details, and would call me if my brother did not respond. Upon not receiving a call from Visiting Angels, I called them and the care coordinator shared the following: 1/care takers do call clients, 2/clients need to call the office, since we do not call clients, 3/you will be billed the 21 hours that were planned for your brother during the additional days he stayed at the hospital. I of course disputed the bill. They called me the next day to share that they recognize their care coordinator made the mistakes pointed out, but that their contract says they should charge me the hours. I killed the contract immediately. This is a business run by crooks with no empathy for extraneous circumstances that cannot be controlled. They will hide behind what they can without any care in the world to charge you. I would highly recommend you not ever use Visiting Angels.

I'm the owner, and I want to address this directly. We made a mistake here, and as soon as I saw this review, we looked into what happened and refunded the charges in full.
Here's what went wrong on our end. When you originally booked, our team should have walked you through a clear choice: we can book a specific caregiver in advance to guarantee coverage when your brother came home (which carries our cancellation policy), or we can wait until he's actually discharged and try to staff it then without a guarantee. This is our standard anytime someone has an uncertain discharge date. That conversation didn't happen. The shifts just got put on the calendar. Then, when you called to cancel, our weekend staff told you that you would not be charged. Our weekday team reversed that on Monday and billed you anyway. That's not okay. When a member of our team tells a client they won't be charged, we honor it. We've since made it clear to the entire team that any verbal commitment from one of us stands, regardless of when or by whom the conversation happened.
I do want to share why we have a cancellation policy at all, because it's not about nickel-and-diming families. Our caregivers are real people with real lives. When they accept a shift, they're rearranging childcare, moving around other commitments, and turning down other work to be there. We don't have a roster of people sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring. In your case specifically, our caregiver was already in her car driving to your brother's home when the cancellation came in. She had already arranged her day and her family's day around that shift. When a client cancels late, we still pay our caregiver for the shift she committed to, which is exactly what the cancellation fee covers. Cancellation policies are standard across home care for this reason, and ours exists so we can keep committed, reliable caregivers on our team, which is ultimately what allows us to show up for families when they need us. But that's a reason to have the policy, not an excuse for how we communicated it to you.
I'm sorry this added stress during an already hard week for your family. If there's anything else we can do for you, you can always reach us at 303-232-9999.

I’ve just started with Visiting Angels about a week ago and already, they’ve gone beyond my expectations. I’m grateful to Meredith who accommodated my schedule to meet me at the hospital for an intake and got me right in. She really went above and beyond for us. My family member is on hospice and all of the care givers have been knowledgeable, compassionate, and trustworthy. I was nervous as I’ve never used this kind of service before, but I don’t have any doubts now. I want to shout out two care givers in particular. Laura was very perceptive and noticed physical changes in my family member that I hadn’t picked up on and encouraged me to call the hospice team, which was the best move to make. It was SO helpful to have her watchful and trained eye there. Another special shout out is Miranda whose personality is a perfect fit for my dad/me and is so excited to support and help in any way. Everyone we’ve interacted with at Visiting Angels truly has had a heart of gold. Thank you to the team as you support me/us through this massive life event and transition. Many thanks.

Irene Spikes is one of my assigned visiting Angels; she is a GREAT match for me! She is a true caregiver and is very cognizant of my increasing frailties. My family and I appreciate her. She enables me to stay in my home. Maxine Traudt

Thank you Maxine, we are so glad Irene has been such a great fit and continues to provide the thoughtful support that helps you stay comfortably at home.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the caregivers who have been taking care of my mother Jennifer K., Angela S., and recently Laura. From day one, they have treated her with genuine compassion, dignity, and respect. It gives me such peace of mind knowing she is in such capable and loving hands.
They are always punctual, attentive, and incredibly patient. Beyond helping with her daily needs, they truly take the time to engage with her - they listen to her stories, play cards, read the newspaper, listen to music, go for walks and do exercises. They make her feel valued and comfortable. It’s clear that caregiving is not just a job for them — it’s a calling.
Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication have made such a positive difference in my mother’s life. We are beyond grateful for everything they do and would highly recommend Visiting Angels to anyone looking for exceptional care for their loved one. ❤️

Thank you H, for sharing such a thoughtful review. It means a great deal to know the care, consistency, and personal connection provided have brought comfort to your mother and peace of mind to your family.
At a difficult and challenging time for our family, Hannah G has been a godsend. She has been attentive to my mother’s every needs. Hannah worked with Mom doing suggested physical exercises as well as cognitive and memory games. Hannah has been patient with Mom and been a reliable companion when Mom felt alone and needed someone as to serve as a security blanket
Hannah has been more than understanding as Mom had multiple hospital stays, placed in two different rehabilitation hospitals as well as a residence in an assisted living senior community.
Hannah went out of her way to help the family answering requests and whatever was thought to be best for Mom.
Hannah is the epitome/true definition of an ‘Angel’ for any family looking to help a parent or loved one
