We initially wanted to have a fence replaced and got a quote from Walker Outdoor Solutions. JJ gave us a quote, but then offered to give us quotes on the patio project we told him we were interested in eventually doing. After listening to our wants and wishes and getting a competitive quote, we decided to do both the fence and patio projects with JJ. The experience was great! JJ really listened and delivered a quality product for us. Our old deck was removed and a concrete patio was poured to replace it, including stairs from our sliding door. Our old fence was removed and hauled away and replaced with cedar pickets and PostMaster fence posts. With all of the attention to using lasting materials, we’re excited to use our new outdoor space here in Minnetonka for years to come. We’re extremely pleased with the end result and would highly recommend Walker Outdoor Solutions. With JJ’s attention to our wants and wishes, we really felt respected as clients and not just numbers. Photos with the deck are the original setup. Fence, concrete patio, and the stairs are what Walker Outdoor Solutions were able to build for us to make the outdoor space safer and more manageable.

We had a wonderful experience with Walker Outdoor Solutions. From our initial call, we felt that they wanted to deliver exactly what we were asking for. JJ understood what we were trying to achieve and came back with a design that worked for us. We signed the contract and were put on the schedule. Throughout the project we were kept aware of any changes or timing issues and the site was always cleaned up at the end of each day. I would definitely recommend Walker Outdoor Solutions and will use them again in the future.
Hey Anthony, it was a pleasure working for you! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. These reviews mean the world to us and our team. Sincerely, JJ Martin Owner
We had Walker Outdoor Solutions do 2 jobs for us. They replaced our failing timber retaining wall with a boulder wall and they replaced our failing deck footings with helical piers and replaced the main support beam for the deck. JJ was very good with communication and very responsive during the project when issues arose after some heavy rains.
Jeremy, thank you for your feedback about your experience with us! We loved installing your deck and retaining wall. Your review means the world to us as a small business! We look forward to working with you again.
We had a massive custom deck here in Minnetonka and these large companies were not paying attention to details! But these guys were great listened to details and heard us out and now they are doing a deck at our cabin as well Thank you JJ!!!
Isiah, thank you for sharing your experience with working with us. We are so happy you enjoyed working with our company. Deck projects like yours are very enjoyable for us. We look forward to potentially earning your business again.
Great experience with JJ and his team. We discovered JJ and Walker Outdoor Solutions while walking around the neighborhood and decided to give him a call for our deck. Our deck needed new railings (safety hazard) and we wanted to simplify. After getting quotes for a new deck using Trax and a custom build no-deck, we hoped we could work with JJ with our existing structure. JJ listened, understood exactly what we needed, worked within our requirements and was patient with some going back and forth on details. The results are great and exactly what we expected. He has a great team of reliable people who are excellent at their craft. We also appreciated the clean up! Thanks JJ.
