I truly cannot say enough good things about Renee and the Wanderlust team. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and it would not have been without Wanderlust. If you're looking for day of coordination, full scale planning, or something right in the middle, HIGHLY recommend hiring Wanderlust!!
I had an exceptional experience working with Ali and her team. From start to finish, they were professional, personable, and incredibly easy to communicate with. They took the time to understand our vision, paid close attention to the details, and went above and beyond to ensure everything came together seamlessly. I highly recommend using this team for any event!
Ali and team did an amazing job. They were on top of every detail. They had a network of vendors that they had experience with. They worked well with our venue, Oglebay. Kept the stress down on day of by handling logistics and adjusting on the fly as needed. They handled the family dynamics well…not every decision is unanimous with a wedding and there are multiple stakeholders…etc.
Wanderlust Event planning was an absolute game changer. Planning a wedding across the miles with Wanderlust gave us peace of mind that the unknown would go according to plan. We hired Ali and the Wanderlust team for month-of coordination for our wedding in July 2026. Ali was attentive, helpful, detail-oriented, and gave excellent recommendations for us to think about. We are so happy we hired Ali because she made both the planning process AND the day of easy and stress-free. Ali already knew every vendor we were working with, so the working relationships were seamless and trusted. She attended vendor meetings with us, provided her perspective and experience, and ensured we were getting what we needed. She created a timeline and designated people for specific roles so that the day of was easy and fun for us. We had the best day ever and everything went so smoothly. We did not have to worry about any details because they were already taken care of. I would recommend anyone planning a wedding to use Ali and Wanderlust to help bring their vision to life and make wedding planning FUN instead of stressful!

Hiring Wanderlust was hands down one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. When I first started planning, I wasn't even sure I needed a wedding planner. Looking back now, I genuinely cannot imagine our wedding without them. We selected their partial planning service because I wanted to stay involved in the process and choose my own vendors, and it ended up being the perfect fit. Ali was with me through almost the entire planning journey, and I leaned on her constantly. She helped me navigate decision fatigue, provided guidance when I needed it, and struck the perfect balance between letting me make my own decisions while also offering her expertise in design, logistics, and planning. Whenever I felt overwhelmed or unsure, she was there with thoughtful advice and recommendations. Whether it was helping with design details or recommending amazing vendors when I decided at the last minute that I needed a photo booth and stationery, she always had a solution. What impressed me most was how invested Ali was in bringing our vision to life. She became my voice when I needed one, communicated with vendors on my behalf, and ensured everyone understood exactly what we wanted. She helped all of our vendors work together seamlessly to create a wedding that felt completely and authentically us. When the wedding day arrived, Ali and Hillary absolutely took charge in the best possible way. I never once had to worry about what was happening behind the scenes because they had everything completely under control. Most importantly, they allowed us to be fully present. If you're debating whether you need a wedding planner, take it from someone who originally didn't think she did - you do! And even if your venue provides a coordinator, hire a wedding planner, especially Wanderlust and their team. The level of support, advocacy, expertise, and peace of mind they provide goes far beyond what a venue coordinator can offer. We can’t thank Sam and the Wanderlust team enough! Working with them was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had been thinking about doing a trivia game, and Sam took that idea and elevated it beyond what we imagined—she seamlessly incorporated it alongside our first dance, cake cutting, and even our Pittsburgh cookie table! On top of that, Sam and her team made every piece of décor look stunning—we honestly can’t imagine the day without them. Working with Sam and Wanderlust was absolutely the best decision we made!
