Watson's Chocolates at a glance

Reviewers highlight the wide variety of high-quality chocolates, particularly sponge candy, and praise the friendly, helpful staff in a clean store environment. While many customers find the products worth the cost, a recurring criticism involves steep pricing that some feel is not justified by the value. Additionally, lower-rated feedback notes issues with inconsistent sponge candy texture and poor packaging that causes chocolates to shift during transport.

Ask for Barb...there's one in every shop. She's delightful and so is everything in the shop especially the chocolate covered popcorn and the sponge candy

Too expensive but delicious

Response from the owner · 6 months ago

Colleen, we are glad that you thought the chocolate was delicious- sorry to hear that you think it's too pricey. The cost of chocolate has risen significantly over the last few years and we have worked really hard to keep our pricing to you in check - we haven't raised our prices in over a year! We have made a promise to use top quality ingredients and we hope that you enjoyed it.

Stopped at Watson’s to buy sponge candy to add to a Secret Santa Christmas gift. The store was recommended to me as the best place to buy sponge candy. The service was excellent, the staff were super friendly. I am not a huge sponge candy fan myself, however, I was offered a sample and enjoyed it. I would definitely come back as well as recommend to others.
