When I had some inherited items likely to be of value, I contacted Rachel Weathers to make an appointment for appraisal. She wisely asked the need for the appraisal: insurance, estate distribution, or metal value. Rather than make an appointment right away, she asked for photos of the maker’s marks to determine if an appraisal was needed. When all information was available, we agreed that an appraisal was not necessary. I am grateful for her integrity.
