If Richard can teach a guy with no rhythm like me how to dance, he is officially a miracle worker! My wife Sophia and I worked with him to prep for our wedding, and he was nothing short of amazing. Instead of forcing us into a rigid routine, Richard was brilliant at coming up with variations on the spot tailoring the moves to play to our strengths so I didn't just survive the first dance, I actually enjoyed it. He turned something I was initially dreading into an unforgettable highlight of our wedding day. We couldn't recommend him more highly!
We loved our experience with Richard! We came in with no dance experience, and he tailored the lessons perfectly. He made us feel comfortable, especially my husband who had never danced before. The dance ended up being a huge success, we got many compliments from guests on how great it was! Highly recommend booking the 5 lesson pack with Richard!

Working with Richard for our first dance lessons was one of the most fun things we did as part of prepping for our wedding! Richard is a dancer himself and is really knowledgeable in ballroom and other styles and incorporates all of that into the lessons.
At our first lesson, we showed up with a few song ideas and a specific lift we wanted to include and he worked with us to put all of these things together. I was so impressed that he choreographed and taught us our piece in just 5 1-hour lessons and that he managed to teach us the lift we wanted to do.
Richard has such good energy and is wonderful to be around, which helped us loosen up. He made every lesson incredibly enjoyable, so much so that we were sad when our lessons ended! Definitely work with Richard for your first dance!
Richard is the man! We had a blast learning to dance for our wedding day. We brought the song, he choreographed, and taught us step by step. Lots of laughter. Ended up with a beautiful dance to perform in front of those we love and a very special moment. Richard is knowledgable, realistic, and your experience wont be boring.
Richard was an experienced and wonderful dance teacher! We took 4 lessons from him once a week leading up to our wedding and had a fantastic and fun experience. Richard is super knowledgeable and made the lessons personalized and special for our wedding. We got so many compliments on our dance. I couldn’t reccomend Richard more!!
We had such a great experience taking our first dance lessons with Richard! We signed up for his 5-lesson packages, and from the very beginning, he made the whole process feel fun, comfortable, and much less intimidating than we expected.
We also didn’t choose a traditional romantic first-dance song, and we went with a country song instead and Richard was great about tailoring the choreography to our music choice and our personalities. Nothing felt forced or overly formal, and he really worked with us to create something that felt like us.
On top of being a great instructor, Richard is just a really funny, caring, and genuinely nice person to be around. We always enjoyed our lessons and looked forward to coming back.

I’d recommend Richard to any novices worried about their first dance at their wedding. In an extremely short time, he choreographed a perfect routine to our chosen song, and helped build my confidence that this was possible, all while having a laugh along the way.
