I’ve never had staff try to sell me so hard on buying something; they came off extremely desperate. It was so off-putting.

Reviewers frequently highlight the gallery's knowledgeable staff, spacious layout, and rotating exhibitions featuring artists like Dali and Picasso. Many appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and detailed information provided about the artworks. However, some visitors criticize aggressive sales tactics, perceived overpricing, and a lack of sophistication in the curation. A few also note issues with inaccurate online information regarding location and exhibits.

They swap the art out regularly and if you’re lucky like we were, you can meet the artist! Would come again.

I left feeling a bit underwhelmed. The gallery itself is beautifully presented, with plenty of space for the works to breathe, but the selection on display didn’t leave much of an impression. I found many of the pieces to be fairly predictable and lacking the kind of originality or emotional impact I was hoping for. Contemporary art is, of course, highly subjective, but this particular exhibition felt more like a collection of familiar ideas than a thoughtfully curated show. I kept waiting for a piece that would surprise or challenge me, and it never really happened. The space is worth visiting, but I hope to see a stronger and more adventurous selection of artwork in future exhibitions.

My wife and I were invited to an event a while back where we met Brian. After learning a bit more about us, he took the time to show us some really cool pieces that were somewhat hidden in the back. We fell in love with a Terry Urban piece that was still there from a previous show. Brian understood that we could not take it home right away, despite being Terry Urban fans for many years. After missing a few invites after, we were finally able to make another show which Terry Urban attended. Brian worked with us to get this awesome piece in our home. I can’t say enough about how well Brian kept us informed and engaged, ultimately getting us the piece of art we desired. Kudos to the gallery as well for putting on some great events and showcasing some spectacular artists. I highly recommend reaching out to Brian at WCC for anything you’re looking for.

We had a wonderful day today, visiting the West Chelsea Contemporary Gallery, in Austin. We came with intensions of purchasing one artwork but eventually left with three. Working with Derek Boone was so informative and a great pleasure. I'm assuming that we will be back real soon.

Visited from out of town. We try to buy in each city we visit. This was amateur at best; overpriced and not well-maintained.
